Wabi-Sabi House - Lakewood 2 Bd Stay

Enjoy a Wabi Sabi/Japandi/Zen experience at this centrally-located Lakewood place. Just a block or two from dining, this two bedroom unit will be the perfect spot to unwind and relax after taking I what Cleveland area has to offer - whether the Rock n’Roll scene or a work trip. Enjoy nearby cafés, restaurants, and night life on either Madison Ave or Detroit Ave or just sit back and enjoy a moment of respite, whether through yoga, meditation, reading, or enjoying a cup of tea.
The space
This is a first floor unit in a two level duplex with your own private entrance, with the whole unit on the same floor except for the washer dryer (one floor down in the basement)

There are two bedrooms in the unit, and a full bath with both shower and tub. We have a full kitchen for all your cooking needs and provide all the basics for cooking, dining, hosting, and baking. Adjacent and central to all rooms is the dining room. Our living room is great for relaxing, watching tv, remote work, just doing some yoga (we have two yoga mats) or playing some chess. The front porch with a conversation patio set is accessible from the living room, and is also a great space to relax.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the whole first floor unit, including porch. Basement is shared laundry with the top Airbnb, but the washer/dryer are not shared. Hallway stairs to basement are shared. Main entry is private.

The home was clean and had all the basic necessities along with bonuses like robes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The toilet also has an attached bidet. 2 minutes or less to Detroit.

Lovely apartment within a great neighborhood

We loved the Wabi Sabi house! 18 year old daughter and I stayed for the weekend as a mini-getaway. The property was easy to access, clean, esthetically pleasing and in a great area. We got up and walked to coffee each morning and it was an easy 20 min drive to downtown to visit museums and see the city. Crista was a lovely and responsive host and the noise was perfectly equipped for our stay: will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Wabi-Sabi House! Clean, organized, comfortable and in a great location for meeting up with family and friends. The host is accessible if needed. The rental looked exactly like the pictures! No surprises.

The Wabi-Sabi house was a great choice for a weekend trip, and the house was a true representation of wabi-sabi. It’s an older building, but the house is well-maintained and beautiful. All furnishings and updates to the house use its space appropriately with no added frills. The owners were responsive, detail-oriented, and accommodating during our stay. The house was perfectly located for us, with many businesses within walking distance.

The house was nice! I didn’t receive house info so I didn’t know how to use the heating system or where the washer dryer was! There were 2 dryers in the basement but both were very full upon arrival! I didn’t bother to go back down as we left early! The heat seemed to change during the night…. My roommate always woke up cold and it wasn’t set on what we set it the night before!
