About this property

Serene Meadow is an one story 1911sq ft luxurious cabin with a game room loft. Offering 3 bedrooms/2 full baths and an open living area . Fully stocked kitchen with a large table for family gatherings. A propane BBQ is available right outside the kitchen door. Wood burning fireplace in the cozy living room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the picturesque meadow. For your convenience and those pulling a trailer Serene Meadow has a drive-thru circular driveway.
Serene Meadow sits on a one acre lot, with an acre in between, sister cabin Harmony Meadow in the meadow of DuckCreek Village. A Seasonal creek is just a few steps from the property as well as community walking trail. Play yard and climbing dome well within eye sight from outdoor gathering seating on Serene Meadows pinewood covered deck. The firepit and seating are also close by in the open area of the meadow.
Serene Meadow is surrounded by newly planted pine trees. It has been noted that wildlife can be viewed in the meadow especially around the beautiful sun setting time. Enjoy family time around the outdoor firepit, making S'mores and seeing all the stars of the MilkyWay.
Serene Meadow and the DuckCreek Village area are convenient starting and welcoming end points to Southern Utahs National Parks and the quaint little towns on the way. ATVs and snowmobiles can be rented in the village to explore the area even more and up close. Small boats also can be rented at Navajo Lake where you can fish and hike also. Duck Creek Pond and Aspen Mirror Lake are very close by for fishing and exploring.
Brianhead Ski Resort is 45-55 min drive from Duck Creek Village pending weather and snowplowing of Highways. Large hill right outside of Serene Meadow for sledding family fun time.

Truly Serene, just as the name says

We had a fantastic stay at Serene Meadow! It was a great place to use as hub for exploring the area and venturing into Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. We loved the peace and quiet of the area, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the hiking opportunities nearby. It's a great property with all the amenities you need, including stuff for younger kids (ours were 6 and 10).

A little piece of heaven!

The home is by far the cleanest, tidiest and most well equipped vacation home we’ve ever seen-and we have been to quite a few. As an added bonus, there are so many welcoming touches to inspire family bonding—a decked out game room upstairs, a cabinet full of board games, a little note by the Christmas tree that read “feel free to decorate,” and the comfiest living room with multiple reclining chairs! Amazing place

We absolutely loved our stay. The entire cabin was clean, comfortable and roomy. The kids loved the games in the loft and outdoor playground. Owners were very responsive. We are bummed that we forgot to sign their guest book but plan on visitng again.

Wonderful home

This is a great house for anyone looking to explore both Bryce and Zion. It had everything we needed to make our week long family vacation perfect. The game room/loft saved the day for the kids when we had some downtime. Would definitely recommend

Memorial Day Getaway

This was an amazing property with all the comforts of home. We definately overpacked stuff like plates and towels as this property had everything you could possibly need. The only problem we experienced was with the jaccuzi tub in the master. We filled it and when we turned on the jets a large amount of gunk came out of the jets from lack of use. But all in all the stay was amazing and so was the home. Would definately stay there again. The hosts were wonderful, as was the property and the trip was a complete success.

A true gem in the perfect location

We had a wonderful spring break at 'Serene Meadow'. There was still 5 feet of snow there in the 1st week of April, but they cleared the driveway & we had great access to the cabin. The love & attention to detail in the cabin was very apparent & appreciated. You can tell they care to make the property family friendly and comfortable for everyone. We did a lot of cooking at the property, as many of the restaurants in town were closed this week, and whatever we needed was there, toasters, griddles, strainers, an ice screen scoop, salad tongs, whatever we needed was there. Aunt Sue's Chalet was open and we ate there many times during our week & we loved everything we had. Hint: They also sell homemade meals (take and bake style). The Ace Hardware store is another great find in the village that had the small things we needed during our stay, more milk, coffee creamer, snow sleds, firewood, etc. They have a decent selection of groceries for a small village hardware store. Some of our favorites things about the cabin: the location, the floorplan, the decor, the 4 reclining chairs/seats, the views (sunset and sunrise), the outdoor firepit for s'mores, the back patios/decks (perfect for coffee), the easy up & down window blinds, the master bathroom, etc. We look forward to our next trip to the cabin & we hope that renters treat this beautiful property as if it was their own and keep it the wonderful place it is. Thank you Michael & Helen for sharing your home with us.

Christmas Holiday

We had a very enjoyable time at the cabin. It was a wonderful location to be in the snow for Christmas and they had the cabin very nicely decorated for the Holiday so it felt very Christmasy! Our little 3 year old just loved it. The cabin is beautifully designed with huge windows that allow lots of view and light. Beds were comfy and heating worked well. All in all, great stay.

This was our third time staying at Serene Meadow. The property is spacious, clean and has great amenities. It is in a perfect location. Great for families. The hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with. The cabin is well supplied. We will be back next year.

Large house beautiful view

View was amazing! Big open windows to sit and watch the deer in the field. Nice deck to relax on. Game room upstairs was a great plus for the grandkids. Owners communicated very well throughout stay.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

We traveled to Utah as a large group of extended family to celebrate my Uncle’s 80 Birthday. Our group rented both Harmony Meadow and Serene Meadow. This was the perfect set up for our group. We were able to adventure around the area each day as an entire group or in smaller groups, then come back at the end of the day to share dinner together and play games, or sit around a camp fire making s’mores. This, in our opinion was the PERFECT base camp for our group. The location enabled us to go on the best day trips! We were able to see Las Vegas(we flew in to Vegas and rented vehicles), Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, and Zion National Parks. We spent one afternoon as a group riding UTVs throughout Duck Creek Village on the best trails! Don’t miss Strawberry Point and the Ice Cave! Make sure to swing by Aunt Sue’s Chalet for pie a la mode! There aren’t many shops there, but the ones that are are well appointed and fun to visit. A+ Outfitters took great care of us the day we went riding. The houses themselves were amazing! Clean, Comfortable, spacious… on and on. Michael and Helen were the most gracious hosts and answered all of our questions leading up to the trip very quickly. We would definitely recommend these cabins and if we ever make it out that way again, we would love to stay again!

It was a winter wonderland.

With record breaking snowfall in the area and on the ground, we didn’t know what to expect. There were over 10 ft of snow ON THE GROUND when we were there. But the owners made sure we could access the property.. it was warm and well taken care of. As described in the listing. Two small recommendations… the queen mattress in the second bedroom could be replaced, it rolls to the center. Some new bathroom towels would also be great!

Stunning cabin, incredible experience

This cabin is amazing! The booking and communication between the host was fantastic, very prompt and helpful. When we arrived the cabin was spotless, picturesque and in the best location in duck creek! We were blown away by the views of the 3 window high main views. The bedrooms were warm, comfortable and the en-suite jetted bath has amazing views and great for relaxing after a long day! The cabin was very well equipped, from the kitchen to the lounge, we didn’t want or need for anything extra during the stay. Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone! Thanks again for the great trip!

We definitely recommend this home!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Serene Meadow. The house is beautiful and the location is awesome. We stayed in the winter time and there was a ton of snow. The drive up the mountain was an easy drive but we did need chains once we turned off the main road. There was a great hill to go sledding just steps away. The house felt very spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. We loved looking over the meadow through the gorgeous windows. The kids really enjoyed the game loft upstairs. We did stock up on groceries in Ceder City before going up the mountain but the True Value and gas station in the village also had the items that we had forgotten to get. Our host Michael was very attentive, checking in on us and always quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home and hope to come back again.

We wanted to have a white Christmas & we certainly did. Breathtaking views from living room. Backyard patio wrapped around house with separate access from master bedroom & other bedroom. Outdoor furniture on both sides. Inside of home was clean. Upgraded interior from kitchen cabinets, counter tops, fireplace, staircase. All high quality. We went hours playing outside in the snow. Grandkids enjoyed the playground. Kitchen stocked even had some spices. Our questions was answered quickly. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Made our Christmas more memorable.

Beautiful cabin, great area

We had such a fun relaxing weekend at the Serene Meadow cabin. It was beautiful inside and out. The fire pit was a great hit. We rented an atv for the weekend and had a wonderful riding to different hikes, caves, scenic outlooks, and fishing in the various ponds. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. We had a great time and a lovely weekend!

My family and I started out camping at the Duck Creek campgrounds over 25 years ago. Since we visited Duck Creek so much, we decided to purchase a cabin in the mountain behind Duck Creek Village. Now we want to share our experiences with your family and friends. For you to see and live through what attracted us to this majestic place. Please take in all the beauty and quietness that Duck Creek and Serene Meadow has to offer.

Truly in our hearts Helen and I did try to set Serene Meadow, as well as Harmony Meadow next door, up as a family and friends memory making environment. 3 bedrooms/2 full baths--game room in the loft area--outside play area. Seasonal creek steps from property--fire pit close by. Full pinewood decking and viewing area of all. BBQ and a sitting area ready for you right out door of fully stocked kitchen with a huge Family dining table.
Pull through circular driveway for convenience.

What makes this property unique

Watch the sunrise and sunset from the pine patio deck with cushioned bistro chairs. Keep an eye on the children playing on the play yard while relaxing under the covered pine deck. Maybe take a stroll along the seasonal creek just steps away from Serene Meadow cabin. During winter, it is the perfect time to snowmobile and go sledding.
Awesome walks right out back door of Serene Meadow or a few minutes drive to surrounding fishing spots. Duck Creek Village is within walking distance. Zion East entrance and Bryce Canyon National parks and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary are within a hour drive. Grand Canyon North Rim is about a two and half hour drive. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is on the way to Grand Canyon. Brianhead ski and summer amenities is within 25 mins (summer) 30 mins (winter). Many quaint little towns to go and see while on your way to one of the many National Parks.
