Las Casitas is a collection of six bespoke townhomes with modern finishes nestled in western district of new providence. Stand by generator is also onsite. The units are situated in the quiet gated community of Lyford hills with 24 hr manned security, clubhouse and amenities facility. Tennyson’s bar and grill at our community clubhouse serves up some of the best food this side of the island. Lyford Hills is considered one of the more high end areas situated near to the Old Fort Bay and Lyford Cay gated communities. The property is surrounded by lush tropical greenery and is very near to beaches, shops, resorts, golfing facilities and about 8 minutes away from the airport. 5 mins from the near by island house boutique resort with spas, and restaurants including Tennyson’s Bar and Grill also offers live music performances occasionally, Shima Asian fusion and Mahogany House. 5 minutes away from The Old Fort Bay Town Center with Solomons Fresh Market food store, friendly Pharmacy, keg ranch liquor store, resturants include: Suishi Rokkan, Naughty Johnnies, and Wildfire Pizza. Beaches are 5 minutes away in either direction and stuarts cove dive center is only 8 minutes away. Also 5 minutes away from Albany Golf Resort home of the Hero World Challenge and even more amenities and services.

Tennyson is the absolutely perfect host/owner. The property is lovely and a terrific place to get away from the hustle-bustle of life for a bit. It was very well appointed and contemporary in style. We enjoyed making this townhouse our home for a week. Hated to leave. Highly recommended.

Craig and his family were great all around guest. They quickly settled in getting to know their way around property. The whole family soon took an interest in the onsite Clubhouse project that I’m currently working on. They were all very engaging, friendly and easy to communicate with. The unit was left extremely clean and the house rules were adhered to. We would love to have this family back with us anytime.

A Quiet Stay in Paradise

We decided to book with Tennyson under sad circumstances (we had a funeral to attend), but our stay brought a ray of sunshine. The estate was quiet, well appointed, and purely delightful. While it was far from the center of town, I personally enjoyed the privacy and serenity of the neighborhood. Our host, Tennyson, was amazing, greeting us upon arrival, fixing things as needed, and even driving us around to find a rental car when ours fell through. I could not recommend this property more highly! We will come again!

Tropical Getaway - home away from home.

Property is located in NW part of the island close to the airport in a gated community with attendant 24/7. There’s a community club/center with upscale restaurant, pool and tennis courts. Landscaping looks great. Place we were staying in is a 2 series of 3 townhomes opposite to each other with private pool in the middle with tables, chairs and loungers. There’s a bar and gas powered outdoor grille. Ample parking up front. Our unit was very clean with modern kitchen and bathrooms. On the first floor is a living room, kitchen with dining area and restroom. Upstairs - 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms, laundry and closet. There’s everything you need for your stay. Communication with property manager - Tennyson was great. We were able to check in early and check out late without issues or extra costs. Tennyson answered every question promptly and even suggested some activities we can do on the island. Highly recommended.

Toll.. aber verbessern..

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Jedoch ist Verbesserung möglich. Kein Geschirrspüler.. zu wenig Geschirr und Gläser.. kein Toaster.. Betten nur Queensize Betten. Für große Menschen einfach für mehrere Tage zu klein. Sonst toll gelegen. Der Vermieter absolut nett. Nur mit wenigen Kleinigkeiten kann man die Lokation verbessern.

Well appointed villa

The location was perfect for us as we rented a car. The villa was well appointed and we had everything we needed including a lovely private pool! We didn’t get to visit the club house but it looked amazing. We will definitely come back! Thanks

Great base for a holiday

Tennyson and his girlfriend Gidget were really friendly and communicative. The unit was really clean and had all the essentials. This area of Bahamas is just 20mins from downtown Nassau, on a really pretty and special part of the island. The location was just fantastic. The unit stayed cool and we loved the ceiling fans which worked well and quietly. The double doors open out onto the communal pool which is small but fine for kids. It is unheated and we were lucky to have it to ourselves which was amazing. I think if all 6 units were occupied it could feel cramped, but there is the main pool also onsite which is great. Unfortunately we couldn't use this during our stay, which would have been good to know before the arrived. The tennis courts are great (bring your own kit) and a really great resource. The area is really peeaceful and quiet and the beds are REALLY comfortable, which was awesome. The kitchen had the essentials, no dishwasher but a coffee machine and frozen drinks blender. The TV just had Netflix which suited us fine. WiFi was fine, A couple of areas for improvement-

Great Lyford Cay Getaway

This is a lovely, well-appointed, clean and convenient property just a mile or two from Lyford Cay proper. Terrific shopping and dining are close by. Tennyson is a gracious and accommodating host and was of great help to us in our local travels. Renting a car is pretty much a must. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful oasis away from the port.

Wonderful start to our holiday! This was our first time in the Bahamas and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. Tennyson and his family are kind, friendly and simply lovely. I was traveling alone with my 14 and 10 years old children and felt so very welcome here. My children loved playing with our host family , splashing in the pool, riding scooters, and snorkeling at the local ( beautiful not crowded) beach. Their sweet cats and dog and turtles only added to our fun as we missed our pooch. I would recommend a rental car if you stay as it is on the quiet side of the island away from the tourist areas. Exactly what we were looking for. The home was modern, brand new and immaculate. It had everything we needed for preparing our own meals. Very comfortable and spacious with ceiling fans and air conditioning. Each bedroom had a tv plus one in the living room. So my kids were tickled they could watch what they wanted at the end of a happy day. Without a doubt , our stay was a ten out of ten. Would love to come back one day. Donna and her kids Zoey and Jack were the best guest anyone could ever ask for. My 10 year old quickly made friends with her kids Zoey and Jack and thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with us. They were extremely clean and respectful of the surroundings and easy to communicate with which made the transition from one guest to the other easy. Donna was very understanding when I told her I had a small problem with one of the tubs in one of the bathrooms and quickly said no problem and agreed not to use it. I loved hosting the Kurtz family and hope that they will consider staying with us again whenever they return.

Beautiful home in paradise

Las Casitas is a beautiful, modern property, ideal for a family vacation. The property opens onto a pool and bbq area. The location is ideal, in a very private, quiet area, away from all the crowds. There are beautiful beaches close by and it is not a far drive from all the tourist action (about 30 minutes away). Tennyson was a very attentive, friendly host and always available to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

The Taylor’s were the best guest ever. Very quiet, friendly and absolutely the cleanest guest I’ve ever had. The boys were also very well mannered, mature and quiet as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent with me and my hope is that they would be return guest. They are certainly welcomed to stay again with me any time, and I highly recommended to any other host that is considering them as guest.

Excellent Short or Long-Term Rental

Las Casitas was an amazing place to stay for our family. Convenient and extremely safe location. Access to airport, shopping, entertainment and beaches. Owner is extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend this property to others. The kitchen/home is extremely clean, private, and well equipped with all you need for a home away from home. Great for families as you literally step outside into a private courtyard with pool and outdoor kitchen/bbq area. This is an excellent choice for a vacation rental, business travel or a long-term stay on the island.

Perfect getaway!!

I’m not a native but I come home every chance I get! This by far the BEST home away in Nassau I’ve stayed so far! The locAtion was everything the host was so friendly and inviting and was on call just in case we needed anything . House was clean and exactly as shown on site simply beautiful ! Everything we needed was there.Nice and quiet area overall I loved it will be staying again whenever I’m visiting

Great guest! Bianca was extremely quiet and friendly. She made sure to keep the unit in very good condition and was very attentive while I showed her how everything worked. Honestly, I hardly even knew that there was someone staying in the unit. She even offered me a plate of her cooking when she was leaving. Bianca is welcomed to stay with us anytime, we love having her.
