Inside, the apartment features a bright, modern design with radiant floor heating throughout and solar-powered skylights for abundant natural light. The second-floor balcony is perfect for watching gorgeous sunsets with a peek of the ocean.
The eat-in kitchen boasts built-in bench seating surrounded by windows, bringing the outdoors in. High-end appliances and cooking essentials include a microwave, toaster, French press, and an instant hot water tap for tea.
The layout offers flexibility and privacy, with a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a living room and second bedroom on the second floor. A private walkway leads to a separate entrance and a spacious first-floor deck with comfortable built-in seating—ideal for relaxing.

Perfect location, charming and exactly as described! Michelle and Pete’s place lined up with our expectations and was ideal for an annual girls’ trip with my best friends!
This apartment was thoughtfully designed and furnished to provide accommodations for our family of 4 adults. We loved the touch of framed children’s artwork on the walls. We had a blast playing Tabu one evening, just one of several provided games. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans although we did not choose to cook there. The location near the beach and town worked well for us. The apartment is attached to a single family home as noted but we had total privacy and never heard the homeowners moving about. It is situated on a quiet street. We had a great breakfast at Johnny’s, dinner at Ciya and also at Nano’s. We also rented bikes and rode along the beach and hiked in Purisuma Redwood Preserve.
Our wonderful hosts Michelle and Pete have created a beautiful, peaceful, welcoming home away from home!It is absolutely gorgeous and everything we needed was supplied- from kitchen to bathroom to bedroom amenities, explicit directions for working the electronics, to suggestions for restaurants and things to do- it was all there. If we could give it 100 stars we would! Thank you Michelle and Pete, we can’t wait to come back!
The home was cozy and our family of 4 had plenty of space to stretch out and get privacy. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The garden is endearing and well maintained. We highly recommend this property.
We appreciated this clean, updated apartment. We especially loved the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable dining nook with big windows looking directly onto the beautiful garden next door and the treed backyard. The finishes throughout are modern and attractive, with many fun kids' art pieces on display including a great hand drawn map of the area that was really useful in guiding us to the ocean path and downtown. It's a great place for two adults or two couples or parents and older kids who want a little space from each other because the main bedroom is downstairs and the second bedroom is upstairs adjacent to the second floor living space. It's a great place for people who appreciate natural light and nice vistas from the windows. The rooms on both floors have big windows, with the upstairs living room opening onto a deck with a view over the neighborhood and another larger deck at ground level. The beds are fairly comfortable. The property is in a safe and attractive neighbor with many beautifully landscaped yards, making for a nice walk around the neighborhood. But of course, the highlight is the grassy path at the end of the block that leads through a meadow to the cliff-side walking path with spectacular views of the ocean and an easy walk to the beach access areas. It is also a short drive to the cute downtown area with some fun shops, a good bookstore, great bakeries and restaurants, including a wonderful retro diner--all on main street.
