Welcome to Boulder Ridge! A dream getaway guaranteed to take your breath away!
Your stay is surrounded by a panoramic view of three private acres of forest with majestic boulders aligning the ridge. When you see Babu the 9 foot 1000 pound bear, you're there! He centers the gravel/stone island and loves getting his picture taken.
The cabin was purchased from a cabinetmaker who milled each board and cherry wood beam by hand, then meticulously crafted every inch of the cabin. Upon entering you will be awestruck by the 15' stone fireplace with 50 in. tv above mantel, chalet windows, cherry wood beams and luxury kitchen with quartz countertops, propane stove, glass range hood set in a rustic stone wall.
Immediately step into a panoramic four seasons sunroom with a spectacular view of the boulders on the ridge. From the sunroom go through the French doors to a private screened in porch.
The loft has a view overlooking the great room, ridge and forest .Enjoy your own private balcony, pool table, King and full size log beds, flatscreen tv with dvd player in the loft. Our Master Bedroom has a log queen bed and chest of drawers. Both the master and great room have over 100 channels of cable tv. Enjoy unlimited Wi-Fi throughout the cabin.

The covered front porch offers a new 2022 Nordic Hottub, seclusion and a wonderful view. At night three star showers light up the forest in a whimsical display. Out back a rumblestone firepit and large covered patio provide privacy and fun. We are a short walk from a view of the valley where you can see comets and shooting stars in the night sky.
We are centrally located in the heart of Daniel Boone National Forest with the 'Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge Area' being only 20-30 minutes away. These two nationally known locations offer many activities such as: a Skylift, canoeing, underground kayaking, zip-lining, family rock-climbing, scenic hiking trails, horseback riding and unique trade and gift shops.
Carter Caves being approximately an hour east offers horseback riding and cave tours.
Our cabin is less than a mile away from Cave Run Lake and Long Bow Marina. Cave Run Marina, Longbow's sister marina, offers pontoon, fishing and paddle boat rentals at reasonable rates. We are boaters and have two spacious turnarounds and level parking for your boat saving you time and dock fees.
Waiting in the cabin is a welcome packet with directions to all the adventure sites in the area from your cabin location. There is no other cabin like the 'Boulder Ridge Luxury cabin rental'. as 'we spared no expense'. Prepare for a Gatlinburg experience with Hometown prices.
We have something for everyone. Our focus is to exceed your expectations!

This property is gorgeous, we love it enough that this was our second time staying here. The host is very helpful and gave us really great directions which is especially helpful because gps will not get you all the way there. It is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing here, we didn’t see any people during our four day stay, we did see a car go by down on the main road though, just the one in four days. My wife and I will surely stay here again and I recommend the property 110%, don’t hesitate just book it.

Luxury cabin get-away

We were looking for a place to stay for New Years and had heard about the red river gorge area. This cabin was amazing, it had a fantastic kitchen, comfortable beds, and we spent each night playing games with the fireplace behind us. The owner was wonderful and gave perfect directions to get to the cabin, and we had a beautiful drive from the cabin to Natural Bridge state park. We absolutely loved staying here!

Winter Break Getaway

We had an amazing stay at Boulderridge. It was absolutely beautiful. There was a ton of snow and it was so picturesque. We had a chance to hike all over the mountain and saw deer, turkey, and a bunch of birds. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, quiet getaway!

Great get away cabin. We stayed 3 nights 4 days, made reservations to stay because we were going kayaking at the underground gorge which is about an hour away. Nice cabin, secluded, awesome hot tub, clean, kids enjoyed the pool table and Nintendo (adults did too!)

Beautifully built cabin with large comfortable rooms nestled in a mountain ridge. Outside is incredible with a cozy front porch and in back another sitting area close to fire pit. We extended our stay 3 days as it was most relaxing atmosphere in a very quiet secluded setting.

Quick weekend getaway

We planned this trip within a week of our stay as a quick honeymoon. The home was as advertised and offered options for fun and relaxation. Fall vacay

I have stayed in cabins in Gatlinburg and Asheville and must say this is the best cabin yet! It is a little off the beaten path but had everything we needed and then some! The owners thought of everything including beach towels for the hot tub, flashlight, binoculars, games, k cups for coffee maker and so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated a gift from the owners. Hated to leave this one!

Great stay near Cave Run Lake

My girlfriends and I had a great time at this property. The property is beautiful and the scene from the overlook is amazing. The beds are comfortable and lots of blankets, fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub was nice, private. The cabin is much closer to Cave Run Lake than Red River Gorge (about 55 min drive to Natural Bridge) but using the alltrails app, we found some great hiking trails near the cabin. Needed awd to get up drive but can park at bottom of short driveway also. Would stay here again, lots to explore and enjoy!

We've searched for cabin motif in popular amish communities, log and home shows, unique trade and antique stores, private owners and out of the way vacation destinations. We look for high quality unique furnishings and décor you just can't find in your everyday dwelling. We furnish our cabins with this unique décor'. From cuckoo clocks to burl wrapped walking sticks we thrive on the unique. We are very hands on cabin owners; offering any assistance our renters may need. After 12 years of experience and hundreds of rentals, we take great pleasure in what we do. I've been with the same company for 32 years and am reminded of that old cliché. "Not just a job but an adventure!"

Why they chose this property

We have been looking at this property for some time. We purchased land nearby as our love for the beauty of the forest grew from over twelve years of experiencing its hidden treasures. We came to believe that the beauty of the forest could be as relaxing as a soothing massage. I've seen huge white tailed bucks leap eight feet into the air to evade me on walking trails. I've seen entire families of deer and wild turkeys some fifty in number. I would walk to the ridge overlooking the valley at night viewing shooting stars and comets in the backdrop of hundreds of stars. I was speechless. This was always my wife's favorite place and when the cabin became available we were delighted to get it.

What makes this property unique

The benefits of staying at a Luxury cabin rental at least once in your lifetime is to experience a blessing with a memory you will carry for the rest of your life. Statistically people who vacation once a year add' eleven years' to their life. Sometimes the best exercise is rest and relaxation. 'He leadeth me beside the still waters, He restoreth my soul". Good things!
