Great location

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very nice unit tucked away in the corner of Pilot house. Very easy to walk right out the gate to the pool or down to Baytowne Wharf. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

The lockout condo was perfect for our family

The condo is just steps from the amazing pool. We used the grills provided to cookout and enjoyed several of the local restaurants. You really don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want to!

It’s always clean! 328-330 Lockout was such a great place. Very clean! Being able to walk out the back door and be at the pool was a huge plus. Our bed was very comfortable. I usually don’t sleep much but was able to sleep late everyday. That meant so much to me. I can’t think of one thing that we didn’t like about our stay! We would love to go back and stay on our next trip back to The Village At Baytown Wharf.

Fantastic location in Baytowne

This was the first time we stayed on a floor located near the pool. We absolutely loved the easy access to the pool and the overall size of the condo. Two minor mentions for the owners. The overall cleanliness of the condo was fine but the floors must have been skipped a time or two. We encountered a black build up on our feet after walking around for a bit. The fans in each room need to be balanced as they wobbled, a lot. Especially in the main bedroom when the a/c came on. Both "issues" aren't enough of a problem for us to not reserve this location again. Overall, we enjoyed our time in this condo and would stay here again.

Bed comfortable, bathroom clean, perfect size kitchen. Having other unit connected was nice. Washer and dryer good to have. Only unpleasant part was living room wood floor had a black film residue from cleaning solution. Couldn’t be bare foot or wear white socks.

Pilot House

We enjoyed our stay at the Pilot House. It was nice to be in an area that our teenager could go off on her own to the Wharf and we felt safe for her to do so. Didn't realize that we were a little farther from the beach then we thought. Other than that, I would stay at this location again.

Nice enough - some issues

Nice enough older condo( we rented both sides) comfortable beds, the furnishings were a little tired- but clean. Close to the pool. Biggest peeve was that the floors were gritty ( not vacuumed or mopped ?) and when my husband walked from the master bathroom shower to the living the bottom of his feet were dirty - same issue for the other couple in the other bed/ bathroom. We found a Cheetos under the coffee table. I was also disappointed that the patio area was not cleaner- concrete should have all been power washed for the season- just was not inviting at all. The mgmt company did send someone within a couple hours to vacuum and mop floors and fix a leak in master toilet.

Gibson Beach Rentals was excellent to work with (had to postpone our stay in 2020 due to Covid), and they were easy to work with. As for recommending this property it depends on what you want. The location to the pool is the best, but sitting on the patio is not so great due to the massive amount of noise coming from the A/C units at Hotel Effie.

It was really nice and peaceful. I didn’t expect to have a curfew of 10 pm and with us being 24 year old alcoholics we wanted to stay in the hot tub and drink but they told us we weren’t allowed and had security come get us out. It is set up for older retirement people but overall it was a nice room and private

We had such a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay! It is quite roomy and really close to the pool, hot tub, work out area and Baytowne! The walk to the room down the hall was quite long. But way worth it!

Great location steps away from the pool and gym. Loved how the unit was tucked away back in the corner of the building. Very secluded, quiet, and private. Will definitely stay here next time I visit Sandestin!

Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for my soon to be sister in laws bachelorette trip! The pilot house was the perfect place! We had plenty of room for 8 girls to stay. The condos location was walking distance to the pool, which we enjoyed almost every evening, also walking distance to the shuttle, which brought us to the beach. Our condo was also walking distance to the wharf where we ate at several great restaurants. They had so many great things we only left the “property” once to go out on a pontoon boat. Big shout out to Julie who works with the shuttle service. When we couldn’t find an Uber or taxi to our boat rental location Julie was able to secure us a shuttle ride to and from the rental location at a very good rate. Honestly we all plan on returning to Baytown wharf and the Pilot House with our families in the future!
