Convenient location and quiet community. We visited in Sept and had a great week exploring the area, sitting lakeside, and enjoying a few swims. Great communication with the host as well.
Tim is an excellent host and very responsive. The property is a perfect getaway and close to many activities and attractions. Tim provided us with a contact to rent a pontoon boat which was a seamless process. We will definitely keep it in mind for future stays.
We really enjoyed this home on the lake. The kitchen has everything to make meals. The rooms and beds are comfortable. We especially enjoyed the oversized fire pit and chairs. The yard & lake view are beautiful. We hope to return.
We spent a lovely week in this beautiful Lake cottage (more like a home!!). Great location and Tim was easily accessible and very helpful. This was our first time in this home and we’ll definitely be back!
The property and lake frontage are great. We had a beautiful late summer day during our stay and we were able to swim in the lake. It’s a hard pack sandy bottom very convenient to swim off the dock. Communication with home owner was good and the location is convenient to TC and other towns in the area.
We were 3 couples in our late 60's and the cottage was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The common living area was just the right size and the table seats 6. The windows across the front gave you a great view of the lake and the chairs and loungers on the patio were very inviting. Cottage was clean with plenty of linens and kitchen equipment. Will definitely plan another trip to Lake Leelanau.
We had a wonderful week at the cottage! The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. The location is great. The house is on a quiet street, and it's also well-situated for quick trips into Sutton's Bay and day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and around the Leelanau peninsula. Vacationing with a toddler, we appreciated how kid-friendly the house is (no stairs to worry about , crib in one of the bedrooms, decor/furniture that didn't create hazards, etc.). As others mentioned, the backyard is great. We also appreciated the great views of the lake from inside and the indoor fireplace, as there were a few windy days during our fall visit when it was more comfortable to be inside.
We stayed for a week and the place had everything you could ask for. Tim was very helpful, he had a guy who we contacted to rent a pontoon for a week which worked out great. There are 2 sandy beach entries to amazing shallow sandy shoreline for well over 100 yards. Clear water on calm days, perfect for swimming even with our infant daughter.
Nice sunset views looking west over the lake (we were there mid August). Easy drive to TC, Sutton's Bay, etc. 3 spacious bedrooms, especially the master. Great views of the lake from the unit.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Tim was a great host and we had no issues with check in or anything in the house. The view of the Lake Leelanau is beautiful, the house is clean, cozy and very comfortable. I would recommend this house highly and hope to come back again soon.
Pictures don't do it justice! The view off the back deck is incredible. The master bedroom is very spacious. It's located very close to several wineries and a cidery. We had some issues with check in but Tim made it right and was very kind.
Beautiful property even better in person. Home is larger and more modern than depicted in pictures. Tim is very helpful and responsive to any and all questions. We would love to visit again. Thank you for the hospitality!
We had a wonderful time at Tim’s lake house. The property is well maintained and the view in gorgeous. The house is spacious, clean, and the perfect location on the leelanau peninsula. Tim was kind, communicative, and easy to get a hold of. Would absolutely recommend this cottage for a getaway!
Great property with a beautiful view right on the lake. Nice getaway - we'll return.
