About this property

16th century renovated Mas located in mountains with sea views

Our 16th century Mas was renovated in 2016 and is located on 18ha, near village of Agullana in mountains. From the balconies you have magnificent views over the mountains as well as bay of Roses (seaside). We are close to France (Perpignan 45km) and only 25km from Figueras - town that hosts Dali museum and many other POI. We have 4 bedrooms of which 3 have en-suite bathrooms, a large dining area, completely modernised kitchen and separate living area. The pool is situated on south side if house with large seating and dining area. On north side balcony, you can enjoy viewing bay of Roses and Mediterranean on this smaller dining area. The house is surrounded with paddocks and barrandilla with our horses, chicken coop and vegetable garden, which our guests can enjoy. The house has internet.
Things to do; relax and enjoy the scenery, walk along GR11 which passes our house. Enjoy watersports at nearby lake. Visit old Catalunyans towns or walk on large boulevard of Roses (approx.35km away) - contact us at our website www.canmaimes.com in case you want to rent only 1-3 bedrooms with B&B or halfboard CanMaimes

Nice house, great place

The property itself was amazing. Comfortable, spacious, clean... The surroundings were also wonderful; nice views, quiet... it's a place to stay in peace with the world. The people who are taking care of the house were also nice and they gave us useful information about the zone. Definitely, we would repeat the experience!

Fuimos con amigos y nos hemos ido encantados. Tanto la casa como el entorno son preciosos!! Cuenta con todas las comodidades para alojar a un grupo y el recibimiento por el encargado ha sido genial, también la dueña ha respondido a todas nuestras dudas antes de llegar de manera rápida y muy amable. La una “pega”, y que se debe mas a la zona que la casa en sí, es que a veces no hay wifi o señal de móvil. A nosotros nos ha servido para desconectar pero si se debe teletrabajar podría ser inconveniente.

Magnifique!

Oui, c'est le mot magnifique! la maison est magnifique et l'endroit également. La vue des montagnes jusqu'à la mer est à couper le souffle. La maison est décorée avec goût, très bien équipée ( équipement de la cuisine de très bonne qualité). Les pièces sont grandes même les salles de bain, nous étions 11 pendant 2 semaines et nous ne nous sommes jamais marchés dessus. Bref, l'endroit est parfait pour des vacances au calme en famille ou entre amis. Pour les amoureux de la nature et de la tranquilité: 5km de piste pour accéder à la maison! Jaume et Marie qui nous ont accueilli sont adorables! Nous reviendrons sûrement! A bientôt!

Wonderful house, area and host

We booked the house to live in for 8 days as a present from the family to my father in laws 75 year anniversary. We were 7 adults and 5 kids aged 0-7 years old. The house was totally amazing! So fantasticly renovated with good eyes for details! The pictures gives you high hopes som to say but in reality the house is even better. 11 out of 10! The views from the house, balcony and terraces are priceless. We had some contact with the host before for tips on the area and also during our stay because there was some problem with the dishwasher. The host is very helpful and friendly! We had trouble communicating with the friendly janitor Jaume but he was nice and helpful anyways. The house gives you a nice feeling of remoteness with no trafic sounds etc. The road up to the house is appaling but you will get used to it if you are an experienced driver. A higher car than a "normal" car is recommended. No need for a 4x4 but an SUV is good enough. The house is situated in a very nice, friendly and scenic area. I can not recommend the house strongly enough if you are looking for a house up in the mountains in the area Alt Emporda! Thank you Ingrid and Jaume. We will be back!

Une maison vraiment tranquille!!

Super séjour dans cette maison au milieux de nulle part.Tés bien équipée pour plusieurs personnes.Piscine, barbecue, et le silence pour profiter du temps qui passe. juste déranger par les sangliers qui passent .... Jaume qui nous a acceuillit est trés gentil et trés serviable. Seul point noir c' est pour arriver à la maison car la route a des bosses et si votre voiture est basse c' est un peu dur.. mais ça vaut vraiment le cou. Encore merci pour tout....

Beautiful Masia

We were 9 adults looking for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon this stunning Masia. Renovated to a very high standard, isolated and private, this turned out to be an idyllic location. Incredible views amd total tranquillity. Furthermore, communications and support from the owner and the carers of the property were friendly, speedy and in detail. Would definitely return.
