Just walk out the front door and all that New Orleans is famous for, is steps away. Home was built in 1880 with classic, high ceilings and spacious rooms and over 2300 Sq. feet of living space. Four large bedrooms, 3- king size upstairs and 1-queen size downstairs and updated with 3 bathrooms . Don't get a cramped hotel room when you can live large in this New Orleans estate with a balcony that looks over all the Frenchmen Street fun. Spotted Cat, The Maison, 30/-90 Club, Bamboula's and Adolfo's restaurant are just seconds away. Kent and Jose were great— welcoming and responsive. The big old house is roomy, well supplied, and charming. And it is literally steps away from some of the best places to hear live music in New Orleans.
This historic entire home (not a shotgun) is in a great location being near the corner of Frenchmen and Chartres. It has street parking in front when available and a paid parking lot close by. We loved this historic home and our stay. It had comfortable furnishings and modern conveniences. Loved the antique furniture and chandeliers. The music noise was only loud our first night with a large band setting up on the corner but the house is well built and dampens it. There's a little grocery store on Frenchmen nearby, too. There were plenty of homeless sleeping on the street which was sad (usual for NOLA). The house has a nice size backyard with fruit (lemons?) on a tree. That backyard would be so nice if it was cleaned up some and made in to a nice courtyard. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Our next plans are to really do the backyard nice . It's coming and I agree, it will look great.
We book this house because we wanted to be as close to the parade route as possible. It didn't disappoint. It was a great location with everything you could need as far as entertainment and food right at your doorstep. That being said, if you are a light sleeper you will need earplugs. Don't stay here if you are expecting a quiet evening. We read the reviews and went into it expecting to hear the bands and crowds in the street so we were fine with it. It is close enough to the heart of the French Quarter to walk, even for six older ladies. Even though we went in the coldest weekend of the year it was a great trip.
This was a wonderful property, and within walking distance to most of the things we wanted to go to. I loved that it had its own parking space as well (although at one point, someone did come along and take it, but Jose called the tow company right away). It was air conditioned to the perfect temperature and accommodated all 6 of us adults quite well! Beds were comfy, too. It was very noisy at night, but we knew that going into it, so were prepared for that. We loved people watching from the front porch and balcony - very entertaining! I highly recommend this stay for your trip to New Orleans!
Had a great time at this property. We did not spend that much time inside due to it being a great location in the heart of the French Quarter. We were able to hang out late and easily walk back when needed. The host was very welcoming and invested in our stay. Would highly recommend if you plan on partying on Bourbon St. or the French Quarter!
Great walkable location close to great food and music.
We had a great stay, everything was as pictured, check in was seamless with good communication from the owner. The house was set up with plenty of supplies, we were very comfortable. While we personally enjoyed the energy and atmosphere of Frenchmen St., light sleepers should note that due to the proximity of local night life this is not a quiet place.
Such a perfect location in NOLA. Easy check-in process, clean and spacious house, fantastic location, very walkable and easy to get around. Will definitely book again!
Had a group of guys from all over the USA get together to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday and this place was absolutely perfect. If you need a quiet place look elsewhere as there is a party right outside the door every night. Kent the owner was super responsive and the house was perfect - clean, comfortable, and spacious. Looking forward to going back and making more memories.
This property was fabulous! Great location and walking distance to the quarter, and the music and night life of Frenchman Street right outside. The house and location were even better than we anticipated! We will absolutely keep this place in mind for future visits!
This was a great place to stay to be right in the mix with music. It was loud until 3 am on weekend nights but we expected that. Home was comfortable and secure

Why they chose this property
This House is the perfect stay if you're coming to New Orleans for the Jazz and night life. This million dollar Estate is in the heart of the Marigny -Triangle .This historical district is all part of the French Quarter but this is a little special in that it's where the locals go and truly find fine jazz and urban music that people come to New Orleans to listen to. The previous listing was #1038747 with over 30 5-Star Reviews in less than a year. It's an amazing stay, what are you waiting for.
