Nice and Relaxing

The pool and pool area was amazing. The 3 minute short walk to the gulf beach was great. Place was perfect for 2 people. Had to ride bikes or drive to dinner but overall this was a very convenient place to stay.

Great pool and location

This property had a beautiful pool with lots of tropical trees and plants. There were many beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys available. The location is perfect, only two blocks to the beach and a block to the trolley.

Location was great—a short walk to the beach & quiet neighborhood. Plenty of beach gear (toys, floats, chairs, umbrellas, etc.) and a cart which made the walk even easier. The on-premises washer/dryer was so nice to have. Grill was in good condition and kitchen was well-stocked for meal prep. The private pool was much appreciated especially since we encountered red tide conditions on the beach during our stay.

Perfect size for our week long stay of 2 people. Wonderful pool. Would have preferred a taller fence between the houses for privacy but i had wonderful neighbors. It was nice having tv's on each room. The screened in porch in back was peaceful. Kitchen was well stocked.

Splendid time away for family vacation

We were here for an entire week and enjoyed the home away from home. It was very nice to have the pool access for the kids to jump right in when wanting to. Small snafu whith plumbing issues but a call made and prompt maintenance service was quick to respond. It was hot all days but kept cool and comfy when we retreated inside. Amenities were very accommodating. We will recommend this place to others that may want to spend some splendid time away for family vacation.

Great location

Great location close to beach. Pool is lovely and even tho pool is in the front yard it was plenty private with the lush greenery. Unit was clean. But some maintenance issues should be addressed. The toilet does a little ‘ double flush’ …someone 2 years ago mentioned but has yet to be addressed. The pool pump is quite loud. I’d think it hard to sleep in the 2nd bedroom. There is very little information in the unit as to the use of TV/internet. I received a text before checking in warning of a gate alarm and not to turn it off. No such alarm exists. The internet was off when we arrived and after awhile we were able to find the router and reset everything. A little information concerning this would have been appreciated. Access to the unit requires a 10 digit code. If you don’t punch it fast enough it doesn’t work. I finally figured it out but our neighbor had to call VAcasa 3 times. If it has to be 10 digits st least make it the renter’s phone number!

Blue Wave Villa made us blue

When we arrived the entry keypad did not work. We called guests services and they did try to trouble shoot but we ended up having to use a key. They sent out a maintenance person who tried to repair the keypad and it did not work for entire stay. Very nice lady who did try to fix the problem. During a heavy rain storm there was a minor roof leak in the bathroom ceiling which we reported so that further damage could be avoided. Guest services wanted us to leave the rental and go to another comparable. After explaining the leak was not dangerous we just want to report it so it would not be a major problem in the future they let us stay. They sent out roofers several days later. Several days into the stay the shower would not drain and the toilet would not flush and leaked from the bottom of toilet. No young people or babies in our party so nothing harmful was put in the flush. Another call to guest services and they said they would try to get a plumber out. We were out all day unable to use the house or pool and using public restrooms waiting for a repair to be made. Late in the afternoon we returned and La Pensee plumbing was working on the repair. They are the best plumbers on AMI!! We called guest services to let them know the repair was almost done. Guest service said they were just going to call us to say they could not get a plumber and we would have to move to another place for the night. What?? So over all the house was pretty basic, minimal pots pans in kitchen. TVs worked fine, pool was wonderful. Two minute walk to the beach, fantastic! Washing machine very tiny, required more loads of laundry be done. Beds not super comfy. Vacasa staff nice but don’t seem to make good judgements about how to handle the above issues and as a result we were pretty stressed out on what was supposed to be a stress free vacation. Vacasa is supposed to credit us for one night of stay and a discount on a future rental. Fair enough but not having to deal with these problems would have been better. We have visited AMI for 30 yrs this is heaven on earth but will in the future think more than twice about Vacasa rentals. Sorry this was not a good experience.

Gut mit mit Verbesserungspotintial

Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt sehr gut. Bei der Unterkunft sollte im Innern wieder mal in die Betten und die Ausstattung der Küche investiert werden. Auch sollten mal alle Schrauben (Türe usw.) Überprüft und nachgezogen oder fehlende Schrauben ergänzt werden. Die Gasflasche von Grill war nach einmal gebrauch leer und wurde bis ende Ferien nicht ersetzt. Leider gab es da auch keine Antwort auf mein Mail. Küche: - Geschirrspüler tropfte Wasser auf den Boden (gemeldet aber wurde in den beiden Wochen nicht repariert) - Abwaschbecken ohne Stopfen Schlafzimmer: Die Betten sind schon ziemlich durchgelgen.

Nice House Nice Location

Everything people are saying about the unit is true about the quiet street, wonderful pool and 1 1/2 block walk to beach. Could use some easy fixes though - kitchen was under supplied and king mattress was uncomfortable, is worn out and needs to be replaced. Toilet leaked on floor and two calls were needed to get it fixed right. AMI is pricy and hosts need to keep a better eye on maintenance.

So close to the beach and they have everything you need to go to the beach! Our kids loved the pool right outside the front door. It is such a nice quiet neighborhood. Could see the stars at night! We will be coming back

Great home and fantastic location!

I spent 11 nights at Blue Wave Villa West with my husband and everything was fantastic. The house was clean, and just like in the pictures. The owner left inflatable pool toys, beach chairs, umbrellas... you have everything you need plus a very well equipped kitchen. We loved having our private pool. Location is key, about 1 block from the nicest and not crowded beaches and 1 block from the free trolley stop. It is really easy to move around, we also used the monkey bus a lot, an on call shuttle that takes you anywhere in the island. The free trolley runs till 10 pm, after that, you have to ask the monkey bus for a ride. No need to have a vehicle here; we did rent a golf cart for 3 days but again, the island has great transportation options. This house has 1 bathroom, so it is ideal for 2 or 3 people in my opinion. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Vacasa for our memorable vacation!

Cozy house

The house was very comfortable, me and my family enjoyed it. The pool was nice and a very short walking distance to the beach. It was in a good spot, near many stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and calm as well. I have no complaints. Next time we visit Anna Maria, it will definitely be at this house.

Much Needed Getaway to Anna Marie

After a last minute decision to visit Anna Marie Island, we were glad to find this rental at a time when “everyone” seemed to be traveling to Florida. It met our basic needs however we would offer a few recommendations. The coffee pot needs replacing because it’s impossible to pour without it leaking. The dining chairs are not only dated and worn but I would recommend chairs without fabric due to likelihood of a damp swimsuit on them. Personally I prefer not to spend as much time doing laundry so suggest a few more bath towels, wash cloths and bath mat. At least 2 per person and a couple of mats. It was nice to have beach towels to use and appreciated them. In order to save money, we cook several meals and would have preferred a better grill and more than 1 steak knife. The washer and dryer weren’t very big but loved the way the dryer dried so quickly. The pool was very nice. We were surprised it was in the front of the house but that wasn’t an issue. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella provided. The back yard could use some shrubs or something to give it a more appealing look. Things like cordless phones and wicker indoor furniture really gave a dated appearance and the walls could use some beach pictures or something to make it seem more inviting. At the end of the week it was a good trip and we prefer Holmes beach over other beach locations on the island. It was an easy walk and seemed less crowded.

Wonderful vacation

My Husband and I had a peaceful stay at this home. Needs some updates on the beach gear several items were broken. We left our beach umbrella for the next guest. Enjoy
