About this property

Pelican Perch: Tropical Paradise Cottage on the Beach VRC17-000167

This quaint cottage is located "on the beach" - 3007 Avenue F Unit 3 at 30th Street on beautiful Holmes Beach. It is the downstairs unit (1 of 2). The cottage is very comfortable and sleeps 4. The cottage is hidden away on a dead end street away from it all, yet close to shopping and restaurants.

The unit has a full shower with tub plus a shared outdoor shower, spacious kitchen and a compact washer/dryer. The grounds are filled with exotic, tropical plants and a private guest path to the beautiful blue water and white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island.

There is a free trolley that picks up throughout the day and evening located just one block away. The unit is centrally located between Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria where there are several shopping areas and many restaurants. St. Armand's Circle, Robinson Preserve, Bradenton's Riverwalk, DeSoto National Park and Ringling Museum all make for great local day trips!

Join us at Holmes Beach for the most beautiful sunsets and experience the tradition of Old Florida.

These are older, charming units built in the 50's that we continually update. Housekeepers clean at the beginning and end of each guest stay.

Can't beat the gulf views and the sunsets....

If the downstairs unit is not available, please check the upstairs unit at Vrbo #737839.

There is a new double wide staircase blocking your beach view. Could have put in a single wide staircase straight down & kept the beach view. Tenants balcony above your porch doesn't have solid floor. All dirt & rain comes thru floor & onto you. Apartment clean. Beautiful beach.

My husband and I stayed at your property for seven days in May 2026 and we had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were comfortable, and the beachfront location was perfect. We especially appreciated the availability of beach items, which we found incredibly helpful. The neighborhood was quiet yet conveniently located near local attractions, and the check-in process was seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and will highly recommend your property to others. The Garrisons

Pelican Perch was the kind of beach bungalow I was looking for…steps from the beach, yet close to shopping and restaurants, well stocked with updated appliances, decor was beachy, property managers were courteous and responsible to my needs, bedding was comfy! I did not have a car but the free trolley was convenient and reliable! I will definitely be back

The property was so lovely and RIGHT ON THE BEACH, with our own private little path. It was so awesome, and the property manager, Raquel, was amazing! She was so helpful and super nice. I would definitely stay again!

Amenities were all in good condition. The paper towel roll that was left there was dirty on top so we just bought our own paper towels. Otherwise it slept well. It was quiet. It was on the beach. It was perfect for my sister and I

I FOUND AN EMPTY HALF GALLON MILK JUG UNDER COFFEE TABLE, 2 ROACHES WERE FORUND ALIVE, A/C'S DID NOT WORK EFFICIENTLY, NO ICE MAKER
Stayed 7 nights in May 2026
Response from VrboOwner on 16 Jun, 2026
Guests are encouraged to contact the property managers who live nearby on the island if they discover any issues during their stay. Issues will be addressed immediately. Ice maker is not advertised on listing and ice trays are provided. Leaving exterior doors open will cause the AC to have difficulty keeping up and allow live palmetto bugs inside the property. Milk jug claim is unlikely since the table was moved to vacuum the rug and the previous guests left the unit in excellent condition.

our only bad experience was the bathroom, no grab bars in the bathtub as we were elderly people in our 80s. It was hard getting in the tub. Also, the sink was very slow. We told Dan about it and he was going to have somebody come and fix it but nobody ever showed. The view and the beach were absolutely wonderful.

4th time at the property

We love the cottage; especially the location on Holmes Beach. Not real big or “fancy” but it is super clean, great property managers, everything you need plus the great location.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy this unit due to the fact it was located directly on the beach and it was a small condo unit of 2. It was also a short distance from where we live and allowed us to get out of the city and relax. Holmes Beach is absolutely beautiful all year round.

What makes this property unique

We love relaxing on the beach and watching the evening sunsets. Mornings are usually filled with walks on the beach and collecting shells. We also love taking the trolley to Anna Maria island for dinner and shopping.
