Cozy Mountain Cabin with Hot Tub

Newly updated, cozy mountain cabin! The house is stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing weekend, including a gorgeous kitchen with a gas range stove and a large modern bathroom. There is also a generously sized outdoor hot tub (which is very well-maintained) and a gas fireplace in the living room. The cabin is a two bedroom, with incredibly comfortable queen and king sized beds equipped with extra comfy pillows. If you are looking for a place to relax for the weekend or crash after a full day of outdoor activities this home is a great choice! The house is conveniently located just a couple of blocks off of highway two, on a plowed road, so that it is easy to access even in the snow. Located in the small community of Grotto, 5 minutes from the historic logging town Skykomish, where you will find a deli, a restaurant, and a pub. The home is a twenty minute drive from Steven's Pass Ski resort, the best skiing in Washington State. Located in an area with endless opportunity for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, river rafting, or just taking a picturesque drive. Along with great location and beautiful interior of the home, the views are absolutely phenomenal. Your views from either side of the house are huge snowy mountain peaks. The house has a large privacy fence around the perimeter and the neighbors are quiet so that you can feel very secluded. There is wifi available in the home, streaming tv and Dish Network, if the internet is being slow we provide guests with several movies to watch on the DVD-Blueray player, and a few games. This cabin truly has everything you need for a Washington mountain vacation!

We spent three nights and wish we could have stayed longer! We loved the area and the home was just as it was advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub each morning and evening after hiking. It was a great stay!

What a beautiful location. The mountains just look down on you. The home had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We had some hot tub issues but the owner was very helpful. We were able to get at least some use due to her quick action. She was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Our dog loved it too!

Great House for a Weekend Ski Getaway

This fun little house near Stevens Pass was perfect for a weekend ski trip. The interior is wonderfully updated and comfortable and the hot tub was a topper for a night after skiing. The pass is only 15 - 20 minutes up the road and Skykomish has a bar for ski apres. Host was responsive and kind - we would rent again!

Loved the hot tub!

This cabin is well equipped and very comfortable. The closest grocery is 20 minutes away, so bring your food.Then kick back and relax inside or in the outdoor hot tub.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway!

Weekend Hiking Trip

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We went hiking on some nearby trails and that was a lot of fun. It was nice to come back and enjoy the hot tub. We recently sold our home and are apartment dwellers so this was a nice escape. It reminded me of our old house so we felt right at home there. Great stay and next time we head up to the area I will try to book my stay here again.

The pictures don't do this place justice. Kitchen is large and inviting. Bathroom has shower room separated from toilet and sink by a pocket door. Dimmers on the lights throughout the house to set the mood. We stayed ten days and felt right at home.

Wow! What a place!

This house is beyond perfect. We stayed for 2 nights with my family while they were in town visiting and this was the most relaxing retreat! All the furnishings and touches are top quality and it has anything you could possibly want. The hot tub is amazing and with views of the mountains out almost every window, you really feel like you’re in the wilderness. I would highly recommend this stay. We didn’t want to leave!!

We venture out every year at this time to avoid the madness of explosions that occur in our neighborhood for holiday. We were hoping for the best with this little charmer and we were not disappointed! (Not a boom to be heard for miles.) THIS IS INFORMATIONAL: A burner on the stove did not light. The quilt on the bed was lumpy. Some pillows need cleaning. The sink in the bathroom drained slowly.AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: When my wife was unloading the dishwasher, she raised her head and smacked hard against the overhanging cabinet. That cabinet should not be there. Someone could get badly hurt.

Great Cabin, Great Taste!

My fiancée, our two pups, and I, loved our stay in this cabin. We tend to stay at a cabin with our dogs once or twice a year. There was a lot of space, beautifully decorated, a king-sized bed, and extremely clean and cozy. For those of you who like to cook, it was a lovely full kitchen, near good hiking trails, the jacuzzi was so relaxing, and there are games/movies to keep you and your family busy. Other people’s properties were very close to the cabin though, so we felt bad due to our dogs wanting roam on other properties, and the wi-fi was a little spotty, but that’s being knit picky. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. It was 5 stars!

Adorable, clean cabin with beautiful views everywhere

Adorable little cabin! Melanie was quick to get back to us when I needed to add one more person to our reservation a couple days before our stay. She let us know it was no problem and we very much appreciated this. This cabin was clean, with comfortable beds and gorgeous views all around. This was everything we were looking for in this mini vacation. Even though we had neighbors around us we didn't see, or hear any of them during our stay making it feel very private. The hot tub under the stars was perfect, and the mountains everywhere couldn't have been more beautiful! We didn't do much this time around, but plan on coming back soon to check out all of the beauty this area has to offer. Thank you for hosting us in your cabin and we look forward to returning sometime soon!
