This two-story A-frame promises a romantic getaway filled with peaceful relaxation. The spiral staircase leads up to the loft where you will experience the most spectacular view of the river and mountains. When the salmon are running you can watch the eagles swoop down and fly away with their catch. From exploring the riverbank to relaxing by the fire or soaking in the private hot tub, you are sure to enjoy your stay. Fully stocked and ready for your first time or return visit, this property accommodates 2 guests (queen upstairs) main level has cozy fireplace, and promises a memorable experience.

Very comfortable and well-stocked! Made excellent use of the small space, and we enjoyed the hot tub and mountain views from the riverfront. Directions were easy to follow and host-provided information was perfect.

The room was so quaint and clean. It was a very intimate setting. The hot tub was amazing. The views were amazing. The only thing we wished was that the loveseat was a little bigger to stretch out for two of us.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this cozy A-Frame cabin. The place was clean, warm, and very comfortable for a relaxing mountain getaway. The cabin feels private and peaceful, with beautiful views of the river — such a perfect spot to unwind.The hot tub was amazing, heated well, and made the evenings especially relaxing. We also loved how close the cabin is to hiking areas and ski spots — very convenient.The host was responsive and friendly, which made the whole stay smooth and stress-free.The only downside for us was that there is no internet/Wi-Fi at the cabin. It wasn’t a big issue, but it’s good for future guests to know in advance, especially if someone needs to stay connected.Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back!

Had an amazing time with my partner. Definitely had our most memorable moments in Seattle here. Tips-Push laundry room door from the top of the door.-The heater’s on switch is on the back right.-Fold the pools cover in half then you can raise it.-The river was a good place to find sticks for hiking. (Smoothed out so no splinters)-The hike to Lake Serene goes from easy to hard after the waterfall, go early.

This place was amazing. Easily one of the most relaxing places my wife and I have ever stayed. The access to the river is phenomenal, and the views from the hot tub were unbelievable. The listing is accurate and describes the property very well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and ensured we had all the information we needed for our stay in a timely manner. Being able to sit on the river rocks, unplug, disconnect, and completely reset was exactly what we needed.

Very nice little A frame on the river. River access is a little tricky up and down some boulders in the bushes. They had a rope that was helpful. Hot tub and everything worked great. Very good collection of movies. Our only issue was with the heater. Couldn't figure out how to turn it on with posted directions, not mentioning to turn on the power switch on the back. Overall we had a great stay for 2 nights. Thank you.

Great getaway spot

This is a great getaway for a couple. Just enough room for two and the view from the cabin or from the hot tub is great. Cell service is a bit spotty but was able to still get some phone calls in. Great movie selection if you feel like just having a night in too. Great communication with the owner/manager too.

Cozy little charming A-Frame with all the basics you need for a short stay. Gorgeous secluded property with a nice outdoor dining area. Loved the proximity to the river, down a makeshift path and you're there on North Fork Skykomish River. Beautiful scenery from the rivers edge and from the property.Spiral staircase to the bedroom so not ideal for those with mobility issues.Perfect location to Bridal Veil Falls/Serene Lake Trail Hike.Also loved the eclectic atmospher of the local Sand Bar Tavern run by a friendly welcoming couple.We loved our stay!

Amazing mountain getaway

Stayed here for 3 amazing nights. The views are spectacular, and the sounds of the river make this the perfect getaway. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a day of hiking the numerous trails nearby. Cell signal wasn’t great inside the cabin, but I could get an ok signal from the porch. But the lack of cell service was fine because there was a great selection of VHS and DVDs to keep entertained. I would definitely book this property again.

Beautiful Location

This was an absolutely beautiful property. Great river access and close to some great hikes. The only complaint I had was the air conditioner is not strong and doesn’t cool the loft. The temperature was unseasonably high during our trip. Had to sleep on the couch the second night to be right in front of the air. But that’s just a minor personal inconvenience. Overall, great place!

Peaceful long weekend

Cute little place right on the river. Great location to get to hiking and snowshoeing. Eagles on the river every morning. All the things in the kitchen that we needed to cook. Would recommend and would return for another visit.

Wonderful solo retreat spot

I wanted a quiet spot to reconnect with self and nature, and this place not disappoint. The scenery and river view were fantastic for meditation and day dreaming. The cabin was cozy and clean. The stair case up to the bed was a really tight squeeze, so I left most of my belongings downstairs. Bring wood to make a fire. I was fortunate enough somone left a few pieces behind. I look forward to returning again!

We had some initial confusion, but fairly it was all on my end. The owner settled things perfectly. (THANK YOU!) Our weekend was incredible. No wifi or cell coverage meant completely disconnecting. Exactly what we needed. The A-frame was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The sound of the river, ever present. The fire pit with mountain backdrop was amazing for roasting hotdogs and watching the sky. We even enjoyed a movie from their video collection. (They have great taste) Overall, I would absolutely recommend, and we are already looking at it for other weekend getaways.

This property is unique from all others in the area. Set off by itself, this A-frame provides spectacular views of the mountains and the river from every window. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the wildlife come down to the river or see the eagles soar overhead.

Why they chose this property

Our view is second to no one on either side of the mountain w 2 mountains coming right out of river in front of you. Our beach sand is raked like a Zen Garden for each guest!
