This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath downstairs unit at the Purple Parrot Village Resort located in a secluded area of the resort. This condo comfortably sleeps a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The living room includes all new furnishings is equipped with a television, DVD player, internet, and a memory foam sleeper sofa. The bedroom also contains a king bed, and a television. The kitchen is fully furnished and this vacation home includes a washer and dryer in the condo. **This condo now has a brand new tub/shower combination with safety bars and the decor has been updated throughout! Come check out the recent updates, give us a call to book now!

~ The Purple Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill will be closing seasonally this year for the cooler months and will not reopen until February 1, 2026. The pool and other amenities will remain open and available for guest and owner use. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nicely furnished, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Only exception is very uncomfortable bed which craters in the center causing occupants to roll into each other. Great secluded location in the resort away from noise of parking lot and highway.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Gone Coastal. The Purple Parrot is a wonderful resort with great amenities. The condo had been recently updated and was very nice. We did however have a couple of issues with the unit. The mattress for the pullout looked like someone had ate snacks all over it and was covered in little black hairs. We were not able to use it during our stay and our daughter had to sleep on the couch itself. There was also old food and crumbs under the pullout where no one bothered to clean. Our other issue was the flooring in the unit. I think the contractor that did the floor forgot to put a moisture barrier up under the unit and it has caused the floor to bow in some places. There was even a hole in the brand new floor in front of the bathroom entrance. But overall, we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back here again!

Girl’s Trip

My best friend and I took a short girls trip away from our families and demanding jobs. We really enjoyed our stay at the purple parrot resort. We spent 2 days at the pool. The tiki bar was great. We loved the live music Our lunch was fantastic, a hand patties grilled cheeseburger a d hand battered chicken tenders. We also enjoyed Johnson’s Beach at the state park. Our unit was recently updated after the hurricane and several units were also getting facelifts. Parking was a bit of an issue due to the construction. But overall we had a great time and we hope to go back soon.
