About this property
High Loop | Fireplace, Hot Tub, Grill, Pool Table
More than a vacation rental, High Loop is a sumptuous retreat. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home, which sleeps twelve people, includes such luxuries as an outdoor, two-person hot tub, pool and foosball tables, as well as a large deck for alfresco dining and relaxation.
A modern interpretation of a rustic cabin set among pine trees, High Loop is decorated to a spectacular standard. The living area boasts gleaming wood floors, a cathedral ceiling and picture windows that let in a wealth of sunshine. After a day on the slopes, you’ll all love gathering around the stacked-stone fireplace, mulled cider or hot cocoa in hand. And any time is a good one for sinking into the luxe leather seating to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable.
As part of the main floor’s seamless open-plan layout, the living area segueing gracefully into the dining space. The lustrous raw-edge dining table can accommodate as many as eight people, and several more can sit at the accompanying breakfast bar. On the other side of the breakfast bar is the kitchen, sure to delight any chefs and gourmets in your group. With gleaming stainless-steel appliances, sparkling countertops and a full array of cookware and tableware, High Loop has just about everything you need to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, a breakfast buffet, or any other meal your trip requires.
During warm weather, you might want to bring the festivities outdoors. High Loop’s spacious deck includes a dining set and large grill. For dessert, you can luxuriate in the deck’s hot tub. Especially after a day of hiking, skiing or golfing, a soak among its massaging jets of warm water will soothe even the weariest muscles. Afterward, kick back on one of the roomy deck rockers and sip a nightcap beneath the starry sky. It’s quiet moments like this that are often highlights of any getaway.
For indoor fun, head upstairs to High Loop’s game room. There you can shoot pool, throw darts, play foosball, or curl up with a book by the fireplace. The house also has an elliptical machine, in case you didn’t get enough of a workout hiking or skiing, and an office area, should you have to catch up on work during your stay (though we sincerely hope you don’t!).
High Loop’s five bedrooms are outfitted to the same high standard as the rest of the home. Each has its own TV and furniture that exemplifies mountain-style refinement. Four bedrooms include a king-size bed, while the fifth has a queen. In addition, one of the sofas converts to a bed for two, should you have extra guests. The primary suite is especially pampering, with a large seating area, a plush rug that will feel so sumptuous underfoot and a huge en-suite bathroom. This bathroom is larger than some hotel rooms, and much more opulent - with a garden tub with its own TV, a separate (and gorgeously tiled) shower, twin sinks and plenty of storage. Three of the other bedrooms feature sliding doors that open directly onto the deck or a private balcony. Feel free to slip out late at night for a bit of stargazing with your sweetheart—we won’t tell! One bedroom has its own fireplace as well, for an even more romantic mood.
Among High Loop’s other amenities are a washer, dryer and plenty of parking. And let’s not forget the convenient location. The Links at Sierra Blanca golf course is about a five-minute drive away. Just a few minutes further is Alto Lake and Recreation Area; when you’re not fishing—the lake is stocked with trout—you can explore the surrounding trails on foot, mountain bike or horseback. And in only 35 minutes you can drive to Ski Apache, the southernmost continually operating ski resort in the country.
Don’t miss out on the delights of High Loop. Book your stay today, and get ready to vacation in style.
Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway or roads. 4x4 or chains may be necessary during the winter months to access your home. Maximum 5 vehicles.
Please Note: A pet fee of $75 applies per pet.
