Our private lakefront, five-bedroom, two-bath, cedar shake cottage is situated on level ground just steps to a gradual, sandy-bottom water entry: one of only 6 such natural access points on the entire lake.

Built in the early 1900’s, this charming home has been lovingly cared for and updated. Additional features include an enclosed porch with sliding glass windows and screens, outdoor patio, spacious lawn, ample parking, and a dock for up to a 25’ power boat.

This property is available to rent spring, summer, and fall, and is conveniently located on the open lake 6 miles north of Lake George Village and 4 miles south of Bolton Landing. It is 5 minutes by boat to the Narrow Island Group and 30 minutes by car to Saratoga.

Please note: occupancy is limited to 10 persons (day or night) for the care of our septic system and as a courtesy to our neighbors. The home and its setting are yours to enjoy, but NOT suitable for large family reunions, multiple-family gatherings, wedding parties, or general use as a "party house" at any time.

No pets. No smoking. Additional fee is required for docking your boat.

Beautiful, quiet lake front property

Our stay was fantastic. The house was emmaculate and the owner made sure we had everything we needed. The house and the property were beautiful. The owner was so kind, accomodating and available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this vacation spot!

Great home!

Very nice home. Well equipped. Nice dock for boat. Quiet location. Shallow water off dock great for smaller kids. Location on lake is good for boating (kind of middle of lake) Good location to town for restaurants.

Fantastic Lake House in Bolton Landing

We had a wonderful week at the house with our family. The house was just as described in pictures and even better in person. We were a family of 6 adults + 4 kids and it was just the right size. Kitchen was well stocked (treats to welcome us too!) The location is really a dream right on the lake. Private beach was perfect for kids to wade in and jump right off dock. Thanks Dan for a fantastic vacation!

A beautiful home with a spectacular view!

My family and I spent a week on this beautiful property and we couldn’t be happier. The house is kept very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the little sandy beach and shallow water to swim in, especially for the little ones. There were even sand toys for the kids to play with. The owner really thought of everything and was so nice! The location of the house is in perfect proximity whether you go into Bolton Landing or the LG Village. We hope to return next year!

Memorable week

Our family had a memorable week at Dan’s family home on the lake. The house was picturesque, clean and comfortable, just as advertised in the listing. We felt like we were in a magazine or a classic painting while staying there. Dan reallly had everything set up for us to have a wonderful time and was super responsive to questions. We were a family of 8 (including two boys, 10 and 7, and three grandparents). We had plenty of space and the boys loved the yard and the small sandy beach area which they spent hours playing in and swimming from. We look forward to returning.

Little Piece of Heaven!

My family and I just returned home from this home on Lake George. I can't begin to say enough about this beautiful home, property and the surrounding area! We have been blessed to be able to travel quite a bit and this home is by far and away one of the cleanest and most well appointed home we have staying in. Our three grown children and their spouses plus one 2 1/2 year old joined us this year and there was plenty of room for all of us! The property is beautiful with a flagstone terrace, a lawn and a small but sufficient beach area that was shallow and safe for our toddler. About three miles up the street is the charming town of Bolton Landing with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, gift stores and a grocery store. We fell in Love with this home and the beauty of Lake George and we are already planning a return trip!

Lake George gem

This home was perfect for our family and our guests. It has everything for the adults and the children. The little beach was great and the dock was large enough for our pontoon boat. Dan keeps the house very clean and is all set up for your cooking needs.

Best vacation ever!

My family and I had the most wonderful vacation at this perfect lakeside home. The house was immaculate, well-stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay and for fun! Began house on Lake George.

We had a fantastic time in Bolton at Dan's lovely home. It is very well equipped- we only needed to bring our food and clothes. The house was spotlessly clean and well cared for. The grounds are gorgeous, full of flowers and mature plantings, with a gently sweeping lawn to a small, sandy beach amd a dock for swimming and boating from. We seriously could not have been happier with the choice of Dan's property- and want to stay there again!
