When you enter the long driveway the trees loft over giving a tunnel effect down to the two-car carport. This is the point when all stress leaves your body. TECA is a quiet, secluded very private home on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. And TECA Lodge has one of the most beautiful views on the lake. Standing on the dock takes your breath away.

Lake George is dotted with hundreds of islands for camping and picnicking or just a lovely boat ride to take in the views of the picturesque Adirondack mountains and islands. From the dock is the view of many mountains, including Black Mt., Buck Mt., Sleeping Beauty Mt., Shelving Rock Mt. and Pilot Knob. You can also view many islands, including Dome, Three Brothers, Recluse, Phelps, Perch Island and Log Bay, Long Island, Elizabeth and Canoe Island. There also are many large tour boats, including Adirondac, Horicon, Mohican, Morgan and Lac du St. Sacrement. Many restaurants on the lake have public docking.

TECA has a large front yard leading to the lake and dock with wonderful swimming good for kids of all ages. There are wide steps leading into the water starting at 3 feet of a sandy lake bottom. TECA has a large side yard for all kinds of yard games. Many yard games are at the house. The boathouse has a boat slip available for your own boat or rental boat up to 8 feet in width. There are many marinas that rent boats on the lake. NO PETS. NO SMOKING

The house is in pristine condition. All knotty pine interior with cathedral ceilings in the kitchen and in the step down Adirondack Great Room, and the very large screened-in porch which leads out to a slate patio facing the lake. There is a very unique and pristine retro kitchen with GE turquoise cabinets. Dining area has seven foot bay window with lake view. CHECK IN Saturday, 3PM. CHECK OUT Saturday, 10:30AM.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

We spent a week at Debby and Tim's house and had a wonderful time. The property and house are beautiful, everything was perfect. Debby and Tim are great hosts and we are looking forward to coming back.

Debbie and Tim, the owners, were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They gave us a quick tour and a brief history of this lovely home. The view of Lake George from the house is gorgeous and the atmosphere is like being in a tranquil retreat. The house was immaculate, very well stocked, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. I did not want to leave and hope to return.

Lake George retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Communication with the owner was easy, the home was comfortable and well equipped , and the yard was perfect for games and relaxing. Last but not least, the water was spectacular!!!

Picturesque Adirondack Lake Experience

My husband and I live in the desert Southwest, and wanted to see something completely different. This stunning property delivered in spades. Pristine water, lush trees and landscaping, a lawn that begs to be laid or played on. The home itself is everything the glowing reviews say it is. Debbie and Tim are excellent hosts and next time we book, we'll just make sure it isn't during the dreaded "(biting)black fly season" so we can really take advantage of all that this amazing place has to offer.

Perfect

Our stay at TECA was perfect! We loved the comfort and view from the home. On the rainy days there was ample space to be comfortable and the stunning view of the lake could be enjoyed from the huge window and screened-in porch. The kitchen has a retro vibe while also being fully functional. The reliable old-style features meld seamlessly with updated fixtures, wall paper, et cetera. Our host, Debby was available for questions prior to, upon arrival, and during our trip. Lastly, I have never stayed at a vacation rental that was this clean!

Paradise Perfected!

What a dream! My husband and I felt so fortunate to spend a week vacationing in this beautiful home. We have stayed at other very nice homes on Lake George, but none compared to the character, cleanliness, comfort - THE VIEW - as this one. Many details of the home’s nostalgic past have been meticulously and lovingly preserved, adding even more charm to the Adirondack lodge feel, yet there are no sacrifices to modern amenities. WiFi and cable TV were great, the bed was comfy, we had everything needed to feel right at home. And then there is the amazing view of the lake which is awe-inspiring. We enjoyed sitting out on the sprawling, park-like yard taking in the gorgeous views of lake and mountain. Thank you, Debby and Tim, for being the perfect hosts!

Pure Relaxation

Debby and Tim's lake house is situated on THE most perfect spot on the lake. The home has many of its original features and exudes nostalgic Lake George life of the 1950's-60's with all the modern conveniences of today. We found comfy beds, very clean inside and out, well stocked kitchen, etc. The lawn and gardens are beautiful and the dock was perfection. Access to kayaks, canoes, and tubes were a bonus. Our group of four had a wonderful time and we would certainly return.

Jewel of the Lake!

Incredible place! Owner was wonderful, place was immaculate, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. Particularly enjoyed the 1957 GE kitchen and colored bathrooms because amazingly every thing still works and looks just about new. Very nostalgic for me. View of the lake cannot be beat.

Quiet Private Getaway

The house is located in a private neighborhood and visiting in the off season makes it feel like you have the whole lake to yourselves. The views from the property are stunning, it's impossible to take a bad photograph. We were able to take the canoe out on the water on a calm morning. Deb and Tim were very accommodating and really made us feel welcome. It was a great experience all around. Cannot recommend this property enough.

Beautiful Lake George

Beautiful home, Perfect location, Awesome owners

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teca Lodge and have already booked a return trip. The house is an architectural gem, its sparkling clean with all the extras you could want - a stocked pantry, snuggly throws for in front of the fire, stacks of beach towels, comfortable beds and plenty of space. The location on beautiful Lake George is great for boating and swimming, pretty walks through the woods and along the shore and close to Bolton Landing. The dock is a magnet and offers an ever changing view of mountains, sun, moon, boats, waves and the boat house is an added luxury. Debby and Tim were there to greet us on arrival and showed us around and they checked in mid week to see if we needed anything. We felt well taken care of. Thank you Debby and Tim for sharing your beautiful place with us. We can't wait to return next year!

Amazing Property

Our stay at Opera Lane

Renting this property was easy and the owners, Deb and Tim, were very friendly and helpful. The house itself and its location on Lake George was amazing! The house is beautiful and the view of the lake was breathtaking. Anyone would love spending their vacation here. The only downside was that this September week experienced the first big drop in temperature in the region, too chilly to enjoy the beautiful, clear water of the Lake. But I would definitely return. Thank you Deb and Tim for your kind hospitality.

Hidden Gem on Lake George

This house and property could not be more perfect for a quiet week enjoying Lake George. Tucked away in a private spot on homer point this house has an amazing lawn, swimming area and views. It is conveniently located for an easy boat ride to all of the best islands on Lake George. The house itself is a gem, built in the 50s it has been meticulously maintained and restored by the owner Debby. Original appliances, light switches and bathroom fixtures sends you back in time ....all in mint condition. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet escape with close family.

Picturesque and perfect!!!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at TECA lake house! The pictures don’t even do it justice! The views are spectacular and there is much to do at the house and in the area. The house is meticulously kept and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay at your disposal. There is also plenty for recreation outside as well. We took advantage of the fishing poles, kayaks and canoes that renters have use of. Deb and Tim were perfect hosts. They were there to greet us upon arrival and were quick to respond to any needs we had during our stay. I already miss having my morning coffee over looking the lake and hope to be back soon!! Thank you Deb and Tim for a wonderful week away!

Beautiful Lake Front Stay

We loved renting Debby and Tim’s home. The pictures do not do it justice. The backyard is incredible and they have all the backyard activities you could imagine (bocce, bad-mitten, kayaks, etc.) The home was spotless and very comfortable for four of us who all had to work from home during the week. Best Place on the Lake

We hav ed been vacationing at Lake George for nearly 40 years. This was the best house we ever rented. The location was perfect and the house was roomy and clean. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. Can't wait to come back again.

Amazing, Private Getaway with family

We just had the most spectacular week with our little kids at Debby and Tim's home on the lake. I've grown up in the Adirondacks, spent a college summer working on the lake and was surprised how private the property was but in the middle of everything. The house is a true Adirondack home, original details in prime condition. The kids loved playing on the lawn and swinging in the tree! The water was a little cold this time of year but our kids still had fun playing on the many tubes and practicing swimming. My husband was able to fish off the dock and take out a kayak every morning and evening. We were close to family who had a boat so it was nice to have a private place to store their boat and use it all week. We built outside or inside fires every night and slept in late everyday! A lot of special visits with close family and memories for us. We will never tire of the view out the windows and off the dock in the mornings with the sun beaming down on the glass top lake. The kids were all giggles the entire time. It was a home away from home. We will definitely look to rent again. Thank you for the well-needed getaway from our busy work lives. The Freemans

BEST HOUSE RENTAL

I rent a house on Lake George every summer. This is the first time I rented in the fall. This house is a rustic secluded Adirondack paradise. We spent time with our two grandchildren(6yrs & 12yrs) for 3 days-Went to Gore mountain fall fest and Great Escape Fright Fest. We had a great time. The next four days my husband and I hiked Thomas mountain and the Pinnacle. We also took a day trip to Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain(incredible views-about an hour and a half away). This house is my new favorite house to stay at. Every nook and cranny is so well thought out. I just wanted to stay home and look at the million dollar view right in front of house. When I first saw the house and view, it took my breath away. The fireplace is gorgeous and especially welcoming on a fall night. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating.

A Lake George Gem

I cannot say enough about this special house and property. The views are spectacular. The kitchen is the rarest find - a mint-condition GE turquoise kitchen - that was fully equipped with everything you might need. We celebrated our 20th anniversary at TECA, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. We cannot wait to come back and rent again...it's simply magical. The house and grounds are immaculately maintained, and the views are breathtaking. The location of the house is very quiet and remote-feeling while only just a short drive from town beaches, restaurants, and shops. We loved the peace and tranquility, and the ability to bring and keep our boat in the boat house. TECA is the perfect place to get away, relax and create family memories. The owner is beyond wonderful, we can’t thank her and Tim enough for sharing TECA with us. We plan to return soon; in the meantime, we happily reminisce about our time at TECA, a true Lake George gem.

quiet and serene with breath taking views

My husband and I have rented here three years in a row and look forward all year to returning. Debby and Tim, the owners, are very gracious and you feel more like someone has opened their home to you than renting a property. The house and grounds are immaculate. The property is very private. There is a tree house, swings and a sandbox making it perfect for families with young children. This is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

A piece of heaven

This home is a gem. My husband and I have stayed here three years in a row. This does not feel like a rental property but feels like a home. The location is secluded and peaceful. This is a perfect place for families with young children or couples looking for rest and relaxation.
