Casita Zen

Located in the rainforest and just 5-minute drive to the closest beach and grocery store. And, about 2 kilometers from there to the town of Puerto Viejo.

Two bikes are included with the rental so you can see the wonders of the rainforest at a slower place.

You have 2 living areas, your apartment and your screened in porch. The porch has tables, chairs, hammock and an area to do yoga.

Enjoy the sounds of being in nature and seeing all the different species of beautiful birds. There's also monkeys, sloths, butterflies, geckos and more.

Try some local fruits and veggies that are in season on property.

Beautiful Gardens - Great Value for Our Budget

We had a wonderful stay! This rental has all the basic amenities we needed and our hosts were friendly and helpful. They were eager to share information and answer all our questions...and even let us use their BBQ. The best part was the surroundings. A huge garden filled with flowers, fruiting trees (which our host described and even let us sample), and birds. Toucans visit the nearby nutmeg trees and we loved watching the fireflies at night. Truly Pura Vida!

My husband and I love the southern part of the Caribbean Coast. We enjoy going to different restaurants to sample all the delicious Caribbean flavors. Taste the Caribbean Jerk chicken, oxtail stew, Ackee & Codfish, coconut rice & beans, the list goes on.... We love the option of going to the beach or going on an adventure in the rain forest. Visit all the attractions and activities in the area. We hope you will enjoy the richness and beauty of the Southern Caribbean side of Costra Rica as much as we do.
