direct view over the sea (Iles-Saint-marcouf, Pointe du Hoc).

Located between the landing beaches of Utah and Omaha beach easily accessible by the N13, Grandcamp Maisy is a leading French ports of fishing shell St Jacques. In the area you have access to many tourist sites full of history from Caen to Cherbourg via Bayeux and the landing beaches, Pointe du Hoc.

Perfect for what I needed

I was in Normandy for the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings. The location was perfect for my needs. Mme Castel was wonderful in getting me the keys and picking me up at the Carentan Train station for a reasonable fee. The studio was just as described. True to pictures. Clean and comfortable. Would be good for one or two travellers, it might get a bit crowded (from US point of view) for three. But I loved it. Views are breathtaking. Great convenience factor, close to restaurants and bakery, and grocery shopping within a kilometer.

Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben, ziemlich klein, sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit Charme, einem tollen Blick aufs Meer und allem, was man braucht. Schlüsselübergabe super geklappt. Ein toller Ort für Ausflüge in die nähere oder weitere Ungebung.

Vu votre oubli nous avons fait le nécessaire, à nos frais, pour en acheter et vous les fournir GRATUITEMENT. ---------- Wie in der Ankündigung angegeben, wird keine Haushaltswäsche (Bettwäsche, Handtücher) bereitgestellt. Es steht geschrieben. Aufgrund Ihrer Vergesslichkeit haben wir auf unsere Kosten das Notwendige getan, um einige zurückzukaufen und sie Ihnen KOSTENLOS zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Wir hatten 14Tage gebucht, sind aber nicht einen Tag geblieben.Es war so was von dreckig und ungepflegt.Es gibt kein Schlafzimmer, sondern eine dünne Matratze auf Lattenrost. Das Bad verdient seinen Namen nicht.Das einzige was hier stimmt ist die Aussicht.So was dürfte man nicht vermieten.

Nous avons passé un bon week-end, avec une vue sublime sur la mer. Par contre, fort sentiment de louer un bien dont le but est juste d'arrondir les fins de mois: *Qualité du ménage moyen, *Salle de bain à refaire, *La décoration murale est très spéciale, *La vaisselle n'était pas propre surtout les casseroles. *Le couchage est à revoir même en ajoutant le bultex! Mais la situation et la vue font que l'on arrive à passer au-dessus de tout cela (le temps d'un weekend). De plus, les documents et explications du propriétaire sont très clairs.

Je suis très content que vous ayez apprécié la vue et la situation de l'appartement. En ce qui concerne vos autres remarques quelques précisions : - Le couchage est à revoir même en ajoutant le bultex : Comme indiqué dans l'annonce le couchage est de type futon, donc ferme. C'est pourquoi nous avons ajouté la possibilité de mettre un sur-matelas pour les personnes le désirant. - La vaisselle n'était pas propre : Les locataires ont la possibilité de faire la vaisselle et le ménage en partant, pour économiser le prix de la prestation. Nous vérifions mais dans l'ensemble nous faisons plutôt confiance aux gens et n'inspectons pas toujours à fond. Je serai plus vigilant à l'avenir. - La décoration murale est très spéciale : Effectivement, c'est un artiste local qui a peint une fresque sur le mur, fresque représentant le village. Personnellement je l'adore. - Qualité du ménage moyen : Voir ma réponse pour les casseroles. - Salle de bain à refaire : La salle de bains à été refaite il y a 5 ans. J'envisage de refaire les peintures.
