NEWLY remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, and basement! More pictures coming soon!
This property is an all-brick Cape Cod home on the loveliest street of an historic Baltimore neighborhood. This adorable home has 3 bedrooms and a recently restored full bath on the upper floor. For sleeping arrangements, one bedroom has one king size bed, a second bedroom has two twin size beds as well as a desk work area, and the precious little middle bedroom has a twin bed. We also have a portable crib (pack n play) available to set up that is stored in the closet of the middle bedroom. As of April, we are currently finishing up an extensive remodel on the main level that includes a completely new, opened up kitchen, and a new, larger bathroom. We are ready to take bookings for the summer, as the remodel will be completed in May. There is also a living room on the main floor with a decorative fireplace and a desk work area, and a bright, cozy family room area with lots of toys, books, and games. The basement has also been recently redone with all new flooring and drywall, and we have more toys downstairs too! There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer in the basement. This is a non-smoking property. The home has a private, fenced backyard for you to enjoy. We have a grill and grill tools available for use, and a swing set for small children. If you come in late April/early May, you will be treated to the spectacular display of our large azaleas that grace one entire side of the yard. There is a large, beautiful park just a 5 minute walk from the house that has great play equipment areas, a disc golf course, and a stream with walking trails. For you history buffs, the neighborhood was designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead who was a pioneer in suburban development and also the designer (in partnership with Calvert Vaux) of Central Park in New York City. Sudbrook Park is known as one of the very first 'suburbs' in the nation. There are many beautiful, historic homes to enjoy if you like to walk or run for exercise. The house is just 20 minutes by car from downtown Baltimore, or, 1 mile from a metro station. It's 15 minutes from the train station where you could take a train to D.C., Philadelphia, or even New York, for the day. It's centrally located for lots of mid-East-coast tourism. With a car, it's less than 90 minutes from historic civil war sites like Antietam and Gettysburg, the bustling metros of Baltimore, D.C., and Philadelphia, and the lovely (and historic) state capitol town of Annapolis. Lots of adventures to be had during the day, and a quiet place to come home to at night. Your home away from home is waiting for you!

This house worked out great for our family trip to Baltimore. House had everything we needed including lots of toys and books for the kids. Neighborhood was nice and safe. Place also had an outdoor space
This unit fit all of our needs regarding location, cleanliness, and amenities. I would 100% recommend this property to my friends and family and will revisit this if I'm in town in the future!
The house was perfect for us, it had everything we needed including tons of toys for the kids to play with. Great location for us to head into Baltimore for a couple day trips and close enough to Virginia and Delaware for quick trips. Host was quick to respond and very friendly.
What a great location for our stay very near our friends! It is a very pleasant, quiet, and beautiful residential area, unlike what you find at hotels or other properties in the area. Would definitely items stay again and book for friends and relatives coming to visit.
Very impressed with the property even though the front of the house looks like it’s small. It’s really big on the inside. My kids enjoyed all the toys and games that were there and if it wasn’t for the cold, they would’ve been outside in the backyard at the playground.. would definitely stay there again.
We were in town for a cheer/dance competition. The location was great. The home was perfect for the 5 of us. The host was very easy to get in touch with and responsive.
Very pleasant and just as represented. As an architectural and landscape architecture, history buff, I really appreciated the book about the Sudbrook neighborhood that we were staying in. It’s lovely to walk in especially with all the spring flowers out. One small bathroom to share, plus a half bath downstairs, but it worked out fine. Thanks!
Nice size home for our family of 4. Bedrooms and living spaces were very comfortable. Neighborhood was great for taking long walks around the streets and to the park.
This house is VERY well-equipped for a great family stay!
Rachel's house is an adorable place perfect for families with children. The layout is very good, there are lots of toys and activities, and the kitchen has lots of dishes and cooking utensils, spices and condiments for convenient meal preps. There were even table linens, a booster seat, plenty of cleaning supplies, and a fenced back yard. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and we felt safe and snug in our home-away-from-home. Communication with Rachel was so easy, and she even had notes around the house for things we might need to know. We loved our stay here!
My twins and I had come to Baltimore to see a concert that ended up being canceled and one thing that took the sting out of it was playing some Scrabble and hanging out in this cozy and charming home. The house makes you feel right at home on a quiet little sidestreet. Would love to visit again.
Our family of four had a great time. Kids were able to play in the basement and living room and out back. Nearby playground was a plus. Beat having to book two hotel rooms. We’ll definitely look to book this again if we’re back in the area.
