The wild rose cabin is a great place to visit family! Very private setting surrounded by beautiful walking trails. The sauna was a nice treat. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
This was everything I was hoping it would be. You have your own space, and we didn't see neighbours at all the whole time we were there. I went with a friend from Ontario and my two small dogs, the dogs loved the hikes and the cabin was amazing. I will be back for sure.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was very cozy. We felt very comfortable there. Great location to go to the lakes in the area or into Sicamous or even Vernon. The hiking trails in the area are great and we had a lot of fun. We we will have to come back in the fall to make use of the hot stove and fire pit ! Thanks for a great stay!
Loved our stay here so much! It's the perfect glamping set up, with the sauna and walking paths just outside your door. There were many stink bugs in the cabin so it's more camping vibes than you may think but overall so so lovely. The propane fridge and oven made for easy meals and the fire place made for cosy nights!
The cabin is adorable and has all the necessities for a great visit. The instructions for the fire and lamps were beneficial and we could keep ourselves warm despite the -25 degrees Celcius weather. The location is stunning and we immensely enjoyed exploring the property and the great views.
We will definitely be visiting again.
I booked the wild rose cabin to get away and disconnect in nature and it did not disappoint. Rustic but comfortable. Remote but still close by. My dog did not want to leave and i can’t wait to go back.
Get ready to unplug and enjoy some slow time. This property is a serious treat.
Tips:
Bring a knife for cooking
Bring candles - it's quite dark after the sun goes down

The perfect place to relax and unwind. Wonderful views, total privacy, a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave. The cabin is well appointed with the necessities. We stayed in and cooked dinner two nights, every utensil we needed was at hand. There was a small water leak problem, we were more concerned with the floor than any impact on us, he was over in a flash and had it fixed. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for your review Kathy. We are upgrading our outhouse this fall. We are a 160 acre off-grid nature retreat. Our cabin's are nestled in a natural forested environment. Most our our clientele appreciate this and they come to explore our trail systems and relax in the private off-grid cabins.
Great points for: area. You are completely secluded in the wilderness, so lovely and peacful. Bed was great. Outhouse was really well kept and not stinky at all! Location is great! Love the 2 screened in patios, we made great use of them!
It was too hot for us to use the sauna.
Would recommend bringing a few extra things for the kitchen or pre prepping as the knife selection is not great, and the cups are very small.
Outdoor shower left something to be desired, ha we ended up just holding the bag off the deck for one another.
Lovely housecoats provided, towels etc.
Coffee pots too, big kettle to boil water was very handy!
Host was spectacular and accommodating.
Overall, would definitely stay again though.
My fiancé and I, along with our two shelties, spent three relaxing nights at the Wild Rose Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We arrived during an extreme cold snap on December 21st but the wood stove kept the cabin super warm and cozy. We loved the spaciousness of the cabin, the artwork and vintage furnishings/decor, the comfortable king sized bed, the awesome sauna, and just being able to live simply, enjoying some quality time together, good food and drinks. The trails around the property were amazing to explore — we spent a good couple hours snowshoeing around with our dogs on day two, getting up high enough to take in some pretty nice vistas of the surrounding mountains. The only negative was that there were a number of beetles in the cabin (Western Conifer Seed Bugs) that seemed to come out in the evening when the cabin heated up. They were harmless, a nuisance more than anything, and very common to the area, we learned. Despite that, we would return in a heartbeat to this lovely cabin and property!
The Wild Rose cabin was a wonderful and cozy getaway for my partner and I. The wood-fire sauna was a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive with all of our questions/needs.
Loved the cabin and the trails on the property! We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is that we had to re wash a lot of the dishes before using them because they were dirty.
Quiet, isolated and perfect for people of the mindset of 'live simply'.
Fire was stoked and cabin was warm on my arrival. Very comfortable little cabin that has comfortable bed and warm duvet. Great view! Very close to Larch Hills XC ski area as advertised.
Very peaceful surroundings. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

A great escape into a
We loved our stay! This was just what we needed:
The cabin was great, it had everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful in the mountains with beautiful views of the valley. It was something we would do again if we need to escape, relax and unwind in the mountains. We stayed for a week and we were able to break it up and go into town for dinner the odd time where you would find all amenities (only 10 mins coming down the mountain and 25 mins to the salmon arm where there is all amenities and lots to do).
