Enjoy spectacular sunsets from this rare, single level, ocean view, pool home. This coastal inspired home with a west facing backyard oasis allows you to float and swim in the warm solar heated pool while basking in the afternoon sun. Outdoor grilling is an experience when you're treated to such a fantastic view.
Casa Rica is extremely friendly to the elderly or family members who may have difficulty with small steps or transitions. The entire house has no steps or transitions and provides wheelchair access to every room including the backyard oasis.
The King Bedroom offers an open feel with an ocean view and access to the pool area through French doors. The elegant main bathroom houses a deep and sanitary jetted tub with endless hot water. The sky-lighted shower feels rejuvenating after a day lounging by the pool.
The "Poolside Bedroom" with a queen bed also enables direct access to the pool area through French doors. You can relax in bed while enjoying the view looking out over the pool and tropical palm trees. This room also has its own private bathroom and shower.
The "Garden Bedroom" with two XL twins (or a king upon request) provides a tranquil setting with French door access to a garden courtyard. This is a nice area to relax away from the pool activity.
The "Office Bedroom" with a queen bed can be a quiet place to read or can be converted into an office if you need to get some work done (when you're not relaxing by the pool).
Casa Rica enables families to enjoy time together "great room style" with the kitchen, dining, and family area comfortably situated. This area has direct access to the pool area through French doors.

San Clemente has busy kid friendly beaches near the pier and T street, and also has world class surf spots like Trestles Beach. I love to share my passion for the outdoors and the beauty of nature. This includes hiking along the local beaches, stand up paddle boarding the local waters, or peddling along the local hillsides. I look forward to providing guests with an experience that will provide lasting memories.
Why they chose this property
I love this property! My wife and I found this property for my parents back in 2013. We have owned an ocean view home in San Clemente for many years and have enjoyed thousands of spectacular sunsets. Many nights my wife will yell out "Sunset Alert", and we all are compelled to stop and enjoy it. I wanted my parents to enjoy that same spectacular scene night after night. This property certainly accomplished that objective. The views are expansive and unobstructed. When you combine these views with a solar heated salt water pool that is situated just right to take advantage of the sight, it is truly amazing! The other key feature about this property is the access for someone who may have difficulty with stairs or small transitions into and out of various rooms. We looked at many properties in this neighborhood that had two or three stairs into sunken living rooms or into the property. Not many homes have the combination of features that this home provides. It is truly a rare find and I love it!
What makes this property unique
This home is unique because it combines a number of extremely useful amenities. It has spectacular unobstructed ocean views. It has a salt water pool that enjoys the sunny western exposure and takes full advantage of the view. The way the house is situated on the property the pool area is largely protected from the prevailing SW winds making pool time even more enjoyable. The single level house makes access easy for everyone. The great room environment creates a feeling of togetherness among the family in the kitchen, at the dining table, or in the family room watching TV. The bedrooms have an open feeling with outdoor access through the French doors. The master bathroom is its own sanctuary with a jetted tub and sky-lighted shower. There is a whole house water filter that makes the water feel clean and soft; and the sink is equipped with reverse osmosis filtration which provides crisp clear drinking water. There may be other houses that may provide fancier amenities, but this house will provide an enjoyable and memorable experience!
