Incredible Chalet Style Mountain Escape!!! Beautifully appointed 3 level home. Amenities throughout include: pillow top mattresses, high end bedding & pillows, area rugs, bath mats, linens, towels, lamps, dishes, silverware, glasses, children's dishes & cups, pots & pans, kitchen towels, Keurig coffee maker, serving dishes, baking sheets, crock pot, hair dryers, leather couches, plush throws, UHD LED TV's & Firesticks, carbon monoxide detectors & decor, games and a POOL TABLE. You name it, it's here. In addition to these furnishings, the home has a fully furnished basement with UHD LED TV & Firestick, full sized pool table & pool cues, and countless board games for all to enjoy! If you need to work from home, we have got you covered with a desk and office chair! Send the kids downstairs so the adults can gather upstairs or switch it up:) Master on main level with full bath, two additional LARGE bedrooms upstairs also with full bath and large loft area with a Queen Sofa Bed. It truly is an amazing layout just waiting to be enjoyed by every member of your group. Huge outdoor deck with both covered & uncovered portions with plenty of seating to be utilized. 20 minutes from Flagstaff, 40 minutes into downtown Sedona & Oak Creek, 40 minutes to Snow Bowl, 1.5 hours to Grand Canyon. As if all of this weren't enough, the chalet is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac so the kids can be outside all day. Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the single car garage and shop. Upper & Lower Driveways accommodate up to 7 vehicles (without trailers). On-Street Parking and parking on at neighboring properties is NOT permitted.

Munds Park is a WONDERFUL community and lends itself to enjoyment year round! Escape the heat of the valley during the warmer months and immerse yourselves in a winter wonderland during the cooler months! Many families utilize off road vehicles and UTV's during the summer months and make the most of the hundreds of miles of forest service roads in the area on public land. The same can be said for snow mobiling on the same roads during winter!

- Pet's must be disclosed and approved AT time of booking & be included in the reservation

- Munds Park is a "Night Sky" community. Please make every attempt to not leave exterior lighting on beyond 10PM.
- 2 exterior security cameras at the property. One for verification of number of guests/pets arriving, a second to verify servicing of the spa ONLY.

Wonderful Property!

Beautiful cabin and great hosts

The hosts were the best we have ever had and we stay in VRBO's about twice a year. Called us to make sure we made it in the middle of a snow storm.

Perfect cabin feel

A group 8 stayed at the cabin for a few days. The property was great, the furnishings and surrounding areas mesh well together. The hot tub, fireplaces, grill, and excellent communal spaces make it a great place to unwind with a large group.Great middle base to have day trips out to the Grand Canyon and Sedona.

Perfect for a family!

Very enjoyable stress free stay. Communication with owners was great. Zero complaints! Kids loved the basement area, adults loved the patio and big rooms. Plenty of room and beds and perfect location for day trips to flagstaff!

The property and home were nice. The home was clean and orderly. The kitchen was equipped and had a nice dining area. The location was remote and peaceful. The hosts were polite and informative.

Cozy, Comfy Getaway

Nestled in the pine trees, this lovely A-Frame cabin offers gorgeous views out every window. Sit outside on the deck to enjoy the amazing mountain air. The home is equipped with all you need and quite clean. Beds are comfy. And the cabin manages to feel cozy while still being roomy. We loved our stay.

Chalet mountain feel on edge of Red Rock country

Munds Park location east of Sedona's and Red Rock country allows easy access to these desert sun spots with the advantage of retreating to the shade of the forest trees. Home does feel like a chalet with generous common space and adequate bedrooms for large family group. Has all the comforts of home in a simple, straight-forward to be 'lived-in' way.

Peaceful Paradise

Host communicated well with us. We arrived ro an absolutely beautiful cabin. Every detail is thought about. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks. Linens are in great condition. We cooked in most nights in the well equipped kitchen. Our whole family was so impressed. We definitely will book again for our next trip up North

A beautiful cabin getaway...

We had a great stay at Tad and Ivy’s cabin. There was room for everyone, and the game room was definitely a plus! The cabin is lovely and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Although it is not far from the freeway, the swaying trees are what you hear! We would recommend this cabin and would stay again :) PS... the owners are very friendly, communicative, and willing to help in any way.

I think home was not cleaned as expected , Had left over food items (cookies, water bottles) , clothes in drawers etc Driveway was full of snow and slippery as it had snowed a day before, spent a good 30 min clearing snow to get to the door Overall experience was good though

Relaxing

Had a wonderful stay with family for the weekend! Loved spending time on the patio. Cabin was clean and well equipped. There was still some construction going on as noted in the listed but nothing major and did not affect our stay. Kids loved the games. We travelled with an 8 month old and the host had a pack and play as well as baby gates available which was great!

Fantastic trip

We had such an amazing time. The chalet was everything we could ask for and more. From the moment we got there where we were greeted with a goodie bag to all the way through, we had a blast. We actually wanted to extend our trip two more nights but it was already booked. The chalet has everything as advertised. Basement with game room was perfect for our kids. We had s’mores on the patio table and loved taking walks in the neighborhood. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this great place.

Gorgeous!

This cabin is gorgeous and had every single thing we needed! We’ve stayed in many vacation rental and this one offered so much more. They even provided coffee,spices, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bed linens and pillows were great quality and the kitchen had every item needed, plenty of cooking items, dishes and even a ninga! They also had a ton of games in the game room to play and space for everyone. We had a beautiful welcome gift basket and card upon our arrival waiting for us. We will certainly be back! This is a perfect family getaway for any family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great patio time!

I brought my elderly mom to the mountains to escape the heat. We enjoyed and spent a lot of time on the great patio. The beds were comfy, plenty of room for our family. I was a little disappointed that the large window in the dining room did not open, and one of the other windows was missing a screen. We were only able to open 2 little windows in the family room. The neighborhood was very nice, but we could hear the highway noise from the I-17. Overall we had a really good time!

Really pleasant location and property

Conveniently located right off I-17, allowing easy access to surrounding sites (grand canyon, flagstaff, sedona, etc). Host is wonderful to work with and responds quickly to queries and concerns. Home is a dated, but clean and well stocked to make a visit comfortable. Host provides a book with good information in it, but also contains a lot of do's and don'ts. It, along with the laminated cards posted through out the living areas is a bit off putting. We probably wouldn't chose this location again, but found it very acceptable for the family gathering we rented it for.

The house was very comfortable and clean. We were surprised it was so crowded by neighboring homes, as the photos made it appear much grander and open. The heater didn't keep the house warm at all so we had to use the fireplace more than we would have liked. There were no matches or kindling to get the fire going.

A wonderful cabin in the woods!

Casa de Marino Chalet did not disappoint! My husband and I decided to have a small family reunion with our 4 kids, their spouses/significant others, and our 2 grandchildren as a Mother’s and Father’s Day gift to each other. Any blips we had were easily rectified because Ivy and Tad are great hosts who communicate efficiently with their guests. We loved that we could walk to Kota’s Coffee Shop fairly quickly and could take walks around the neighborhood in the cool mountain air. We utilized the game room almost every night playing pool and dominoes and just visiting. The bedrooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked. I don’t hesitate to give this listing a 5-star review from top to bottom!

Lovely Munds Park stay

What a beautiful cabin and setting to enjoy family and friends. The spacious environment inside and out made it delightful to entertain, cook and dine in the cool out-of-doors. It is the perfect setting for a gathering. My husband and I enjoyed the cabin to ourselves at different times. We loved the sun lit home and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed for dining at home, although, a quick trip to Flagstaff was easy access to numerous restaurants. We enjoyed the spa, games inside and outside the house, hiking in the area and the ATV trails. So much to do. We loved being on a cut-de-sac. It was quiet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. Best yet, the hosts were absolutely delightful and very accommodating. They responded quickly to our needs. This cabin is truly a gem. We made memories for a lifetime. Thank you so much Ivy and Tad. We had a wonderful stay.

Great Stay and Relaxing

We had a great time and really enjoyed our time. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. The photos make it look bigger than it really is but there was definitely enough space for our group and more. The only feedback I would say that needs work is that if you are charging for a non refundable cleaning fee, then do not ask your customers to take the sheets off the bed and put them as well as the towels in the laundry room. In addition, don’t ask to have the dishes all washed and emptied from the dishwasher. I understand that you don’t want a total mess left behind. But if I am going to do all the dishes, put dirty laundry in the laundry room, wipe down all the countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, sweep and vacuum the entire house and take out all of the trash I should not be paying you cleaning charges. Just my .02. Again overall nice stay minus this one observation.

Why they chose this property

It is centrally located between Flagstaff and Sedona. It is about an hour and 45 minutes to the INCREDIBLE Grand Canyon! The glorious red rocks of Sedona. Wineries, Snowbowl, Downtown Flagstaff, NAU (Go Lumberjacks!) It really is a great location!
