The Cedar Townhome in the center of the Galena Territory

Almost Heaven Rentals Galena has been in business managing vacation rental’s since 2002, we take pride in offering you a quality vacation rental. We live in the area and are a hands on team.

The Cedar Townhouse is a three story townhome located in the "CORE" of The Galena Territory, within walking distance to the Inn at Eagle Ridge, a park, walking trails and tennis courts.

Walk up two steps and enter on the main floor which holds a bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom. A bit further down the hall you will find the living room gathering space that features a wood burning fireplace. Wonderful to gather around for coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. Next to the living room is the dining area and newly renovated kitchen, whose new cabinets and countertops are well stocked with the addition of Pyrex glass pans, mixing bowls and baking sheets along with the everyday essentials. Beyond the dining room is a beautifully redone deck with a gas grill and outdoor dining table and chairs as well.

Upstairs just off the entry way you will find a second bedroom that has a queen size bed and a bathroom with a shower stall as well as a quiet corner to sit and read or take a rest.

The third bedroom is on the lower level of this town home featuring two twin beds and a hallway bathroom shared with the lower level living room. Here you will also find the sleeper sofa, a card table, a new smart television and lower-level patio with seasonal views of The Galena Territory.

With a bedroom and bath on each floor, guests have privacy and room to spread out at the end of the day.

This town house is a great place for families, golfers, ladies getaways or individuals looking for a great location with
peace and quiet. This home comes with 6 proximity cards for your use of The Galena Territory. Guests of this home enjoy all of the homeowners amenities in The Galena Territory including the two pools, fitness center, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, pickle ball and tennis. Lake Galena is about ten minutes away and can be accessed by calling the marina to reserve a pontoon boat or kayak. Whether this is your first time to the Galena Territory or your fiftieth this home and area have plenty to explore. Almost Heaven Rentals Galena management team lives in the area and are personally hands on, should an issue arise.

Perfect location (walking distance) for a wedding we were attending at Eagle Ridge. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Nice views - we even got to see the launching of a hot air balloon from the field next to us! Very clean. We were even able to check in a little early as the wedding was only a few minutes after the usual check in. Hosts were very accommodating.

We had a great time at Eagle River Resort. The house was clean and. for the most part, well-maintained. Great location and not too far from the Owner's Club, which we took full advantage of due to the heat and humidity of the week we stayed there.

The property was perfect for our family gathering! 3 floors, each with privacy met all our needs. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay stress free and accommodating!! Perfect for a family get away

Great location to town of Galena, Chestnut Mountain, and not too far from Dubuque, Iowa which all have some fun activities and sites. Loved the 3 levels of this townhouse. Awesome amenity was having access to the "owners club" pools and gameroom which was only a 5 min drive from the townhouse. The general store also came in handy which was very close by. Would definitely return!

Perfect home away from home

We wanted a short family getaway to somewhere new. Also this was our first VRBO. The place was clean and well kept and held us comfortably. This townhouse is very close eagle ridge resort so we ate supper there the first night. We golfed a couple times at the nearby courses. The rental included passes to enter the ‘owners club’ down the road a bit where there is a pool to cool off.

Perfect for Families

This is a perfect place for families, especially those with adult children. There were 3 couples and an infant in our family. Each was able to take a floor which had a bedroom and bathroom. This allowed for some private moments. The living room, dinning room and kitchen were a cozy gathering place. The kitchen was VERY well appointed and appreciated! Thank you for a great stay.

Loved the place but the kitchen was not stocked well with cooking utensils like pots and pans, mixing bowls, serving pieces and baking sheets. It was very difficult cooking Thanksgiving dinner but we somehow did it and had a lot of fun trying to make do. It was a very memorable holiday to say the least! Again townhouse and area was very nice but please stock the kitchen.

We had to book on very short notice due to an issue/cancellation of a previously booked VRBO townhome in the area. The process was a breeze and Emily had great info about the Territory waiting for us -- including clear instructions about how we could access the club house amenities -- which was much appreciated. As the photos show, this is not a overly spacious townhome. But it was perfect for our needs. (We did our "gathering" with the rest of our family during the day/evening at a larger VRBO home in the area)

Could be updated and cleaner!

No problems renting the property. Carpet appears newer. Remainder of appliances etc, seem original, from the 1980's. Black mold around drain in main floor bath. Only end tables coffee table and tops of dressers had been dusted. Return air vent almost clogged solid with thick gray dust. Baseboard heaters have thick dust on top and on fins. I emailed the owner and told her $ cleaning charge was ridiculous for these conditions. No apologies to the renters, excuses for the cleaners. "They have been busy for the last month." Trust me, it took way longer than a month for that much dust to accumulate. Won't be using these owners again.

Galena Territory Townhome

Townhome very close to Eagle Ridge with access to Homeowner’s Club if you can plan ahead. Unit has not been updated in some time though clean and functional. We were there with blisteringly cold weather (-8) and the heat in the unit struggled to keep up. Very attentive managers.
