About this property

Near golf courses and amenities!

Our home is a botanical-themed townhome in the heart of the Galena Territory. Our space has been carefully curated to reflect the diversity of plants you will find in the natural surroundings of the area. There are two ensuite bedrooms and a full kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances. The living room sofa converts into a queen sized bed for more sleeping options. Our home can accommodate a maximum of 6 overnight guests (assuming 1 or 2 people on the sleeper sofa).

The main living area has a vaulted ceiling with the 2nd floor entry visible from the living room. Two skylights bring a lot of light into the space. The kitchen feels connected to the living area with the sink facing the living room/dining room. The bedroom with the king sized bed is on the entry level while the bedroom with the queen and twin sized beds is on the main floor (down 1 flight of stairs), just off the living/dining room area.

You will have access to the entire townhome with the exception of two locked supply closets. Booking this home also affords you access to the Territory Owners' Club. This is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, WiFi and outdoor playground. Don't forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800 acre property.

This home is particularly well situated near a walking path that leads to Stony Point Lookout, which is an incredible vista at the peak of a hill overlooking the beautiful Galena Territory (I can provide more details on how to get there). Pets
Your pet must be well house trained to be in our home. Dogs must be leashed when walking outside the home (a Galena Territory policy). Our cleaners may charge a pet cleaning fee of $30 if they need to clean feces, urine, or excessive amounts of hair from furniture or floors following your stay. These charges are passed on to the guest so take care to clean up after your pet before check out. Please wipe wet paws/dry off your pet if coming in from the rain/snow.

Perfect getaway

This was a perfect last minute weekend getaway for our family before summer ended. The host gave great recommendations for local restaurants and we actually went to all three and loved them! The place was quiet and clean and had nice amenities. Great location! The beds were not very comfortable so sleeping was difficult, but everything else was great.

A very nice unit with new decor upgrades. It was very relaxing and inviting. Very clean and stocked well. Maggie did a great job making everything accommodating and easy. I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend in Galena Territory. Maggie’s home is well stocked and comfortable for 2 couples, creating yummy meals was easy and fun. There is plenty to do in the area. Townhome is wooded and quiet. I recommend this home and would stay again. Thank you Maggie for all of the special touches that made our visit memorable.

Summer Getaway with the Grandkids

Every year we take our two Grandkids on a summer trip and this year we decided to go to Galena and stayed at the Galena Territory. Maggie was easy to work with and communication was excellent. The Condo was clean and set up perfectly for us. All the instructions were very clear and that made it easy. We will be staying at another one of their properties this fall. If you are going as a couple or small family this is the place.

Great getaway

This was just a quick getaway from us to visit a friend. We have been to Galena many times and we love staying in the Territory. This rental property was excellent. It was clean and was exactly as we expected. I think the resolution on my computer makes the decor look more blue but it's actually a very calming green. The decor is all very nice. I appreciate very much that there are basics like hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towels! The towels were all folded so cute I hated to use them. Of course, I did use them but the extra attention to detail was not lost on me. I also appreciate a nice towel! I hate when places have towels that are paper thin. These were nice. And they also provided beach towels - another plus although we did not have an opportunity to use them. I didn't do any cooking while there but there was everything that we needed for a nice breakfast before heading out for the day. I knew there was a coffee maker but I brought my portable K-cup coffee maker. All of the instructions were framed and hung on the wall throughout the condo. So helpful to have everything right there! I knew exactly what to do for check out, parking, etc. We didn't have any problems at all and never needed to contact the owner. It's a perfect location if you want to enjoy all that Galena has to offer during the day, and have a quiet place to relax in the evening. It's very quiet and we loved the darkness and seeing so many stars. It was a great stay.
