2BR/2BA condo on the mountain golf course is located in the Wintergreen Resort. The condo has a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and bunk beds in the second bedroom, a patio overlooking the golf course, and a fireplace (with firewood provided). High speed fiber optic WIFI, and TV access through Roku, are included.

This gorgeous condo is located in the Tanner's Ridge Condominiums at the top of the mountain. Wintergreen is a four-season destination resort is on 11,000 acres, adjacent to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and 45 miles from Charlottesville. (About 1.5 hours from Richmond, and 3 hours from DC)

NO SMOKING. For the benefit of our guests with allergies or aversions to smoke, we cannot allow smoking in this condominium. If you desire 'smoke friendly' housing, please rent another condominium.

Check-in time is 4:00pm, and check-out is 10:00am. RATES LISTED BELOW.

Great property. Lots of room for a family even though it was just me and my son we enjoyed the extra space. Quiet. Nice field behind to walk dogs. We met de friendly dogs for mini play times too. Owner is very responsive.

Condo offers a good layout and good value for the rate. Kitchen is well stocked. Took the convenient shuttle to the slopes. Would definitely rent again. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the unit , something to be aware of if any guests have mobility limitations.

The gentleman that owns this place allows pets

This condo is right on the fairway of the golf course and has nice walking paths. Only minutes away from the main resort for winter skiing makes it easy. If you are a mountain biker in the off season of skiing the resort offers some really great trails. As a person with I a family with pets this place is perfect. Don’t worry about cooking because there are plenty of places to eat on and off the mountain but if you like to cook this condo has a fully stocked kitchen. My only concern would be if you are a family with special needs this place may not be for you, there is two flights of stairs.

Would not use again

This is our first visit to Wintergreen. We have rented vrbo properties at Sugar Mtn and Snowshoe, with great results. We decided on this trip last minute and were ecstatic when we found this place. Reviews seemed like it was a nice place. The trip up was awful in the middle of a winter storm. We finally reached condo after a 9 hour trip which should have been 4 1/2. When we walked in, I immediately saw the photos provided were deceiving. The carpet is badly soiled and has burns by the fireplace. I think it was cleaned, but not well. Both toilets had dried urine in lids and inside rim of toilet. The master toilet had urine splatter on lid, tank, seat, and inside bowl. Thankfully, I found some comet and a sponge and was able to clean both toilets (just what I had hoped to do on our weekender). We tried to contact owner for information on snow removal. Left him a message last night and he hasn't returned call yet. We have one more night here and I dread going to bed again. I hope the sheets were clean, it was hard to tell. In closing, if you are in a frat or used to staying at Motel 6, you may be comfortable here, otherwise, I would not recommend. If the bathrooms were clean, would have somewhat better.

Snowboarding Trip to Wintergreen

We had a nice stay and was nice to be able to bring our dog, short enough drive to the slopes that I could hop in the truck and drop the crew off and pick them up quick when they wanted a break. Condo is right on the golf course so would love to come back when golf season gets here. Weather was perfect for the planned activities with fresh snow but didn’t think about how chemicals would be spread on the parking lot and walkways due to ice which made it difficult for our dog to walk on, something paw friendly would have been helpful but we managed. Just something for others to think about if bringing a pet in the winter. Comfortable and clean condo and fine for the four of us but would be tough if there had been more people. Seating was challenging in the living room for four adults as there was only a small two seater sofa (loveseat), small rocking chair and one other small chair but made do using chairs from the dining table. Would be nice to have more comfortable seating for all after a day of skiing/snowboarding. Everything was in good working order, heat worked well and was nice to have a fire in the fireplace. Purchased some fire starters from the little market to get the fire going well as the supplied firewood was very green, the little market has a little bit of everything which is nice! Was a nice place for a short stay and convenient to resort, market and restaurants. Host was pleasant and quick to respond when we contacted him.

This property was perfect for the family and dog. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities, plates, cups, silverware etc. My recommendation is to bring all the groceries you need for your stay because grocery stores are a 30+ minute drive. There are so many family attractions in that area of Va. We really enjoyed our trip.

Weekend getaway

The condo is in a beautiful location. It’s quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed being able to have the windows open all weekend and spent a good amount of time on the deck. Even though it is right on the golf course, it is very private due to the shrubs.
