Welcome to Lake Lonely in Saratoga Springs! Close to downtown, spacious, sunny luxury waterfront home with over 215 feet of private, sandy shoreline on idyllic Lake Lonely in Saratoga Springs.

Ideal location -- the closest you can be to town while being on the lake. Less than 5 minutes drive to the track, casino, and downtown Saratoga Springs, yet feels like a private retreat.

10% discount on two-week stays. Monthly stay discounts available. Pets allowed subject to approval, pet fee applies ($250 per pet, three pets maximum).

Options to rent our pontoon boat from us, bring your own pontoon or ski boat, or rent a fishing boat, kayak, or paddleboat at the Lake Lonely Marina. Two kayaks (one tandem and one single) as well as two SUP boards are available for use at the house.

Private dock for swimming or relaxing.

Five bedrooms, extra sleeping loft with pull-out couch, and basement pull-out couch. Two master bedrooms, with Tempur-Pedic king-sized beds and full bathrooms en suite.

The gourmet kitchen features granite counter tops, Wolfe gas range, over-sized refrigerator, and a dual-zone wine cooler. Spices, oil, pantry staples all included. Order from many restaurants delivered to the door via DoorDash.

Step-down living room area with massive stone fireplace, leather sectional sofa, comfortable chairs with seating for 10-12+, and Roku TV- all with beautiful views of the lake.

The second level has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, plus a loft/library area with a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf and pull-out couch. One of the bedrooms features a kitchenette with sink, mini-fridge, and microwave.

The walkout lower level is truly phenomenal! It offers a furnished game room with bar, full-size pool table, darts, poker table, and two guest bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms. Additional pull-out couch in the game room living area.

Six person hot tub and outdoor shower on lower level patio. All of this and more on 2 acres. The private lake offers plenty of fish to catch.

Great Rental

One of the best "move in" properties we have ever rented.Kitchen & all bathrooms were well stocked with essentials to start our vacation the minute we checked in. The host, Will, was incredibly responsive to a minor issue we encountered with the air conditioning when we arrived. I would highly recommend this family friendly rental on Lake Lonely.

Lonely lake get away

This house was perfect for our 2-week stay in Saratoga.. we went for the racing but this house was a perfect spot away from the craziness of downtown.. the views of the lake and quiet made mornings perfect to relax and enjoy coffee on the deck!! Would highly recommend..

This is a wonderful home and we had a great time during our week there. Close to many things to do but quiet spot with amazing views of the lake. Plenty to do on the property as well. Wonderful lakefront property

Love place with a beautiful view in of Lake Lonely

While we would have liked closer access to the water and the boat lift was a problem, we loved the house and setting. The view of Lake Lonely was spectacular and changed daily. It has great entertainment spaces, kitchen, living room and porches. Plenty of seating for family movies and the televisions with surround sound were excellent. We ate on the screened porch many evenings. We would have liked ensuite bedroom/bathrooms, but it worked for family.

Overall experience at the Lake Lonely house was excellent! Our family of 9 was very comfortable in the house and had plenty of space to sleep, relax, cook, and dine. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the screened in porch with views of the lake was our favorite room to hang out in. Most of our time was spent down at the lake, which was absolutely beautiful. We brought our 13’ Boston Whaler and docked it at the property for the week. We were in the water daily either boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking or paddle boarding. The water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature. The only downside was the size of the dock and the lack of seating. It definitely needs some updating. Be prepared for a somewhat challenging walk down to the water. It requires good mobility to navigate the steep hill from the house and then 49 steep steps down to the dock.The town of Saratoga Springs is charming and there is so much to do! Lots of shopping, great restaurants and the race course all within 15 minutes from the house. We took our 3 dogs on daily walks in Saratoga Spa State Park and highly recommend visiting. Will and Katie are great hosts and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this property and there is a very good chance we will return.

Annual family vacation

The house was perfect for our summer family vacation. Plenty of room for our family and perfect location for our activities. Very close to Saratoga race track, Saratoga Spa state park, and Six flags. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The beds are all comfortable. Plenty of bathrooms for our large group of 14. The view of the lake is amazing, and we spent plenty of time in the screened in porch enjoying the beautiful view. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for us to use. Katie was very helpful and responsive to us. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Property

We had sort of a family reunion with 12 people. This property was ideal. Plenty of room, great location near town and right on the water. The house itself is very large and has several common areas where we could gather. We had minimal issues during our stay, but the owners were very responsive when we did need their assistance. The only issue that may be of concern to some people is there are over 100 steps (down wooden stairs) that you must walk in order to get to the lake. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful 3 generation vacation!

My two married children and their families and I spent 6 fabulous days at this property. We were 5 adults and 4 children, ages 8-18. The house was perfect for us. One family occupied the downstairs level, another the upstairs level and I had the master suite on the main level. From the moment you enter the house, you are greeted by a magnificent view of the lake. The setting was so lovely and serene. Plenty of spaces to gather for meals, game playing or to just curl up with a book. The home was outfitted to the max! Kitchen, bathrooms -- whatever supplies you needed, were there. Katie and Will have everything covered for you to enjoy a perfect getaway in beautiful Saratoga Springs! I am happy to give this property and the hosts my highest recommendation!

Beautiful Lake House

Just finished a perfect 9 day vacation at this amazing home with our family. The home is exactly as pictured and described. Our weather wasn't always perfect, but there was so much to keep us occupied. We spent quite a bit of time playing pool and using the game table. The home was definitely the most well stocked that we have ever rented. The kitchen was wonderful. You couldn't ask for anything more. Beds, linens and other amenities were top notch. We had a few questions during the week and the owners responded immediately. We were on the lake almost every day boating, kayaking and paddle boarding. We've never been to Saratoga Springs and loved the town. Great restaurants and shopping are very close by. We highly recommend this home and can't wait to go back!

Perfect family reunion home on gorgeous Lake Lonely

This was the most perfect place to spend our family reunion in Saratoga Springs. I could not imagine a better home or setting. When we arrived at the home, it was perfectly clean and bright. The owners left us a s'mores welcome basket including marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, and even newspaper and kindling for their fire pit, as well as a couple bottles of sparkling water and Saratoga chips. So nice! We explored the huge house right away -- the top floor has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a loft with a pullout couch. The main floor has a luxurious master bedroom with an enormous bathroom, as well as a large, extremely well-stocked kitchen, an 8 person dining room, a spacious laundry room, and a 6-person breakfast table overlooking the lake. A step down from the main floor is a huge living room with a large TV and a big comfy sectional. Out the door, the screened in porch has another table, an amazing view of the lake, and a large grill. The bar is attached to the screened in porch. The bottom floor has another master bedroom suite, as well as another bedroom and bathroom. There is a poker table, pool table, and another family room area with a TV and pull out couch and chairs. Everything worked great; our teenagers were happy the wifi was so fast, and our chefs were happy in the kitchen and at the grill. Some of us played cards while others watched a movie and others played pool. Our large family spread out happily throughout the house, and we enjoyed every part of it. It was all so comfortable inside that we hardly minded when it rained part of the time we were there! The weather cooperated better than expected, and we also had a blast in Lake Lonely. It is so beautiful and tranquil. We swam a lot and kayaked around the lake. There were a few other kayakers there, but not very many and sometimes we were the only people there. The water was warm and clean, and there were no motor boats on the lake. One afternoon, we went to Saratoga Lake down the street to rent a pontoon boat for a few hours. Another afternoon we drove a few minutes to the Saratoga Race Track, which was lots of fun. We cooked dinner a couple times, and we also drove the quick drive to town to eat and explore. To top it all off, the owners are very nice and easy to communicate with, and they answer emails very quickly. We hope to come back again next summer. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Wonderful venue for extended family vacation with rave reviews from every age group! House was spacious allowing both great family together time for meals / firepit etc but also room to spread out to enjoy pool table/ hot tub / quiet reading as well as remote working. It was amazing to be so close to all the happenings in town yet when at the house/ on property to be in such a quiet retreat to enjoy Lonely Lake for swimming , fishing , kayaking and more . Communications with the hosts were excellent - extremely responsive and timely. A wonderful experience and great memories !

Tranquil setting and spacious, lovely home!

Our family of 10 plus baby enjoyed this beautiful lakeside home equipped with everything you could possibly need! It felt like “home” with all the extras! The lake is calm and peaceful, perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing off the pontoon boat for all ages. The house sits many steps up from the dock so be prepared to walk off your meals, but you also get a lovely, bird’s eye view of the lake and surrounding green space. The close proximity to town, golf and state parks made this home the perfect place to stay, and the hosts were extremely nice and quick to respond to inquiries.

Spring Break in Saratoga

Ours was a last-minute getaway after covid travel restrictions were eased. This beautiful house had everything we were looking for: on the water with a view and dock for fishing, a private location but near things to do, enough bedrooms for grandparents, parents, and kids, and a hot tub The pool table, game room, enclosed bar overlooking the lake, fire pit, and loft library (also with a view of the lake) were all a bonus. We went into Saratoga a couple of times, but we enjoyed the house so much that we were content to stay at "home" and just relax together without the pressure of working and schooling children. We had morning coffee at the bar and afternoon cocktails there too. If it had been slightly warmer we would have also used the kayaks that were by the dock. The Easter bunny brought the children remote-controlled amphibious cars which they drove on the small sandy beach and into the water. Perhaps our favorite thing was sunrise over the lake. Our hosts were very gracious and easy to contact. We had a wonderfully relaxing and restorative week.

Perfect Lake House!

The house on Lake Lonely was clean, spacious and very comfortable, but the views of the lake from every window when we first walked into the house were absolutely jaw-dropping. The grounds were also very pretty. I stayed with my 2 married children and we were each on our own floor of the house for maximum privacy and comfort. We enjoy cooking so stayed in most nights and the kitchen was great, but the bar area was really unique and great for pre-dinner drinks! Saratoga itself is a lovely little town with nice restaurants and shopping. Although the racetrack and other things were closed due to Covid, we were able to walk around the State Park and my son-in-law golfed nearly every day at one of the many nice courses. Overall a great place to visit and wonderful house to stay in!

The Perfect Vacation

We recently enjoyed two wonderful weeks making memories with our family and friends in this beautiful vacation home in Saratoga. Our group included children, teens and adults and everyone had a fantastic time. We enjoyed swimming, floating, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding on the beautiful lake everyday. We all had lots fun playing lawn games as well as parlor games in the amazing game room downstairs. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed cocktails and conversation in the great bar area and screened-in porch. The house was immaculate and very spacious, set perfectly to enjoy incredible views of the lake. This home is also just minutes from everything in Saratoga-the race track, marina and stores, as well as the shops and restaurants in the charming downtown area. The hosts were wonderful as well! They communicated promptly about any questions we had, as well as check-in/check out logistics. They were very accommodating and even left us a lovely welcome basket to help us enjoy our stay. This is a truly spectacular property and we would love to vacation here again in the future!

Right on a quiet lake with a small beach, private dock and a short ride to town, the house was situated perfectly for a family vacation. Plenty of room so relatives don’t brush elbows too often and hosts that are available to address the small things that inevitably arise.

We have some friends living here in Saratoga who we came to visit a few times and we fell in love with the town. There is so much to do here! What sold us on this property was the amazing views of the lake.
