Luxurious comfort awaits you at our fabulous San Carlos Condominiums located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Everything about the 142 unit San Carlos complex has been designed to offer you the best vacation experience possible, including the desirable zero entry pool perfect for the entire family. This 19th floor 1407 sq ft condo boasts a deck large enough for outdoor dining or just enjoying the sunset. The floor to ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico. While you are here, be sure to enjoy the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath, take advantage of the wet bar and stay connected with the free WIFI. This smoke-free unit features flat screen TVs, professional decor and full size washer/dryer. Monthly stays Nov to mid-March. Parking is at a premium so a 2 car limit is strictly enforced.

PARKING INFO
Parking is to be purchased from the front desk on the 3rd floor upon arrival. Each pass is $50 and good for the duration of your stay. There is a 2 parking pass limit. The front desk will also hand out wristbands for your stay.

CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with fresh, luxurious sheets AND fresh bedding/quilts/comforters before EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed!!! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping division. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.

WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.

Great Condo!! Pros: great view, clean, nicely decorated, balcony furniture comfortable, a/c works perfectly, spacious, elevators are fast, nice pool, easy beach access, walkable to shops and restaurantsOn thing I would say is maybe master bed could be tightened up as it squeaks and noisy. But mattress was comfortable.

Excellent stay. But you must pay for parking.

We were charged $50 per vehicle while staying there. We didn’t realize we would be charged until we arrived. Otherwise, the location and accommodations were excellent!!!

Beautiful views!!

Me and a few friends stayed a couple weeks ago and had an amazing time. The condo was just as listed. The decor was beautiful as well as the views from the balcony. I definitely plan to use this property again.

PROS- Condo Is large, Easy beach access, Easy location to walk to convenient store & restaurants. Easy Parking , Easy Elevators , Plenty of Bath Towels, Lots of Closet Storage Space, Room is directly in front of the elevator , great washer & dryer are full size. EXCELLENT VIEWS. AIR CONDITION IS COLDCONS - Terrible mattress , Dollar Tree kitchen utensils/cookware,Couches need replaced or cleaned, VERY SMALL POOL WITH LIMITED LOUNGE CHAIRS, NO HOT TUB, room directly in front of the elevator can be noisy, Over all this is a great condo with excellent views and very spacious. The room felt clean and the area safe. We had an issue with the refrigerator someone came right away to fix it .

We really enjoy this condo! We wish there was a curtain in the living room because the sofa is a sleeper bed. Also two rooms have dark out curtains and one doesn’t. Overall great experience.

Great condo and very spacious!! Only issue is there is not a curtain in the living room so if you have someone sleeping on coach it is bright as soon as sun comes up!

Fabulous stay!

We loved the unit! First, I must compliment the owner for their bed selection. The beds were super comfortable as we all know, this can make or break a vacation. We loved them!! Next, the unit was tastefully decorated and very welcoming! I must recommend investing in kitchenware in non-stick pots and pans! We cooked our meals and I would have to say sometimes felt like outdoor campground cooking! We did take advantage of the outdoor grills on site, but that was a trip! Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we loved the unit!!

Beautiful clean condo. The 19th floor was amazing views and cannot complain at all at that. I will advise we were disappointed to walk in to no recliners as advertised in the pictures. The living room pictures do need updated. One member needed a recliner and that was very disappointing. There are no extra supplies, so bring seasonings, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. otherwise wonderful visit.

The view cannot be beat. Accurate description. No issue with parking. Even if property lot is full there’s additional parking across the street. The only negative I can say is that there was a constant banging that was interrupting sleep. Maybe pipes? It needs to be addressed for sure. Also would have been nice if the swimming pool was heated.

Wonderful condo! Excellent accommodations!

It couldn’t have went any smoother! Loved the ease of check in and check out! Liked getting texts with all info needed! Never had a problem the entire week! The condo had everything we needed for cooking great meals! They even had their own ice machine! We had 7 of us staying there! All of us were immensely pleased with our accommodations! The only thing we would have changed is the lighting over the dining area. It wasn’t bright enough for playing cards and games! We would definitely come back to this condo! It was perfect!!

Very nice, but needs a little attention…

Check in was easy, received code right at 4:00 pm. Went in, we were very impressed. View, breathtaking! Size of rooms, perfect. Areas for attention…we found an earring in the sheets on one of the beds, 2 bed frames VERY UNSTEADY!!! Moved when I moved. The sofa bed was defective, had to do some MacGyver moves to get it out. And two of the bar stools were extremely unstable. My mom almost fell off of one. Other than this, it was very enjoyable. Please address those issues.

Property needs remodel

Worse ever for me Kitchen tile cracked. Balcony doors very hard to lock. 2 bar stools broken. Tvs too difficult to operate. No security lock on door(a guy came and put one on the 2nd day. Room very vold. No directions to operate thermostat.

Great stay with two frustrations

A great stay. Excellent property and unit. Clean and spacious. Beautiful view of the Gulf. Two frustrations though: 1) While the mattress in the master was quite comfortable, the frame was extremely squeaky. Any move by my wife or myself was annoying. This should be addressed. 2) I am still digging through my initial booking information, but am almost positive it stated a parking pass was included. Yet a week before received an email that I had to pay for a pass. I followed up and they said sorry for the confusion. Ultimately, I had to pay $50 upon check in for a pass. We'll see if I get reimbursed.

What Could Go Wrong

We booked the condo in August. We paid for everything on December 5. On approximately December 20 we were notified by Alabama Vacation Rentals that the condo would not be available (wanted by owner). They would offer 3 condos in area and send link to properties that day. They would honor our price, we would have no additional charge. After 2 or 3 call, they were sent the following week. Day after they were sent, we chose the condo in same building as before. We were told we could only have it for 6 of the original dates. They would refund last 2 days or find another spot for last 2 nights. When it came time to move we were charged $230 for cleaning fee and new parking pass for second property. Condo smaller 2 bathrooms instead of 3 and sleeping arrangements not the same —one person sleeping on couch. Found bedbugs in all beds. At 10:30 pm we were moved to a new condo with only the clothes we had on. We waited until 11:00 the next day to learn that we could retrieve our belongings after 4:00 pm. AL Rentals did pay to ship a suitcase to NY and stated they will reimburse for last 2 days. I will never rent from Alabama Gateway Rentals again!!!

Clean, bright, spacious unit. The building was hands on management, very friendly and on top of their job. Fastest elevators , never a wait. Location is perfect , can walk to anything.
