Perfect location on the Beach in The Heart of Gulf Shores. Island Wind West unit #770 sits in the Most Desired Locations in Gulf Shores. It is walking distance to the Hang Out, Shrimp Fest and many restaurants. Spacious 3 bedrooms 2 bath Low density Complex, meaning no long waits on the elevator, no crowded pools. Newly furnished living room and bed rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. The dinning area seats four, with four additional bar stools. Washer and Dryer . Master suite has King - sized bed with TV. Second bedroom has queen -sized bed with a TV. Third bedroom has one double bed with single bunk on top plus single bed and a TV. Wireless internet provided.
Amenities include Air Conditioning, WIFI, internet, BBQ Grill, Beach Front pool, heated in the winter, and Kiddie pool. Newly renovated Gym ! You get parking passes next door at Island Wind East office it’s $50 for a pass. It’s Limited to 2 passes.

The beach was great as always, the pool was nice and clean. The host was GREAT! Easy to get in touch with and the condo was so nice and clean. We lived our stay and will stay again.

Great space, plenty of room and great view!

This was perfect for our family. We loved how close of a walk out to the beach. The balcony was great to have my morning coffee or drink in the evenings. Would stay again for sure!

Perfect condo and location

This condo was perfect for our group. It is very spacious and accommodating. It is within walking distance of multiple restaurants and shops. The pool on site was always clean and Desiree was very helpful with the questions that I had.

Great spot, great communication with the owner. Just make sure you bring extra toilet paper, paper towels etc. Stay was great and will definitely book again!

Nice property on the beach

The condo was in excellent condition and we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, dishes, silverware, paper towels and toilet paper. We could see the ocean from the window and the balcony. Very good location near all the attractions.

Loved it!!

There was only an issue with obtaining a parking pass the night we got there that was no fault of the owner, but other than that it was pretty much perfect! We loved the property and location. We walked to the hangout for our first dinner out and it was a blast! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking!

Very impressed with this condo! Very clean!!!! Had all the little things you need to just walk in and start your vacation! K cups, wine opener lol TP and paper towels. Even had laundry detergent! Owner checked on us from the very beginning and when we departed !!! Walked to hangout

Perfect condo for our beach stay

The condo is beautiful and very large! Easily sleeps 10 people!! The kitchen was fully furnished with everything we needed. The bedrooms were large and very comfy. Bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels. The owner clearly has pride in this property. The view of the beach is from the side of the building but the balcony is large and great sturdy furniture. Its close to all sorts of restaurants and souvenir shops. Great stay and we would definitely stay there again!!!

Misleading

Most things about the condo were nice and the pools and the walkway to the beach was enjoyed by all. I think I was misled by the pictures you sent me of the condo that I was getting. The reason I rented that particular condo was the wrap around windows and views of the beach. We had the condo on the backside and had no views of the beach except at one end of the patio. I think if you're on the backside and have a view of the highway you need to send that picture to the person renting that condo. It was very misleading and I would not have rented it because I wanted a view of the beach for my family. In the emails that I received with the codes to get in did not work. We had to call the owner and it was about the fourth code we had before it worked. So we stood out in 100° heat for about 30 minutes trying to get in the condo, the condo itself was very well supplied and clean and located close to many enjoyable entertainments. The pictures were very misleading of the view and that is important if you get to go once a year.

Great location; beautifully decorated

This property was great! Right on the beach, shared pool, everything was just as described. Beautiful decor, beds were extremely comfortable, and the water pressure was great which is important being by the beach. The only negatives I have are that the host should supply more toilet paper. We stayed for three nights with a family of 6 plus two adults and we barely made it through. The host was up front with me about that, so we knew what to expect. However, I don’t think I should have to buy extra toilet paper when I’m on vacation. Also, during our stay, a mirror fell off of the back of a door onto my 1.5 year old son. It is possible that he was pulling on it or caused it to fall some other way, however, the mirror was only held onto the door by Velcro strips. Personally I would not consider that a safe thing in a house where children will be staying. Thankfully the glass did not shatter (I happened to catch the mirror before it hit the ground), otherwise we would have had a major issue. And when I alerted the host to this issue, there was no apology or concern expressed. The property is great, but we would not stay there again due to the things mentioned.
