This beautifully decorated condominium (#157) is on the 5th floor in Building #1, which is Mainsail Resort's closest building to the beach. This spacious condo, occupies 2 floors and has the rare quality of providing privacy for adult couples, with two master suites on separate floors, each having their own walk-out balcony. Both have fantastic views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico. The 3rd bedroom has the ability to sleep 4, and a "top of the line" queen size sofa bed adds two more if needed. The perfect getaway for two or more couples or for families needing plenty of sleeping accommodations (10). The Mainsail Resort in Destin is the perfect vacation destination, providing you with 24-hour gated security, nearby shopping at the Silver Sands designer outlet mall, golf courses and every kind of beach activity, including para-sailing and chartered deep-sea fishing. Beach service of 2 chairs and 1 umbrella provided daily at no extra charge.
The Mainsail Resort is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and boasts two pools,(1 heated) and additional large pool complex, complete with waterfall, kiddie pool ,hot tub and workout room. Other family attractions close by include Putt-Putt Golf, Big Kahuna's Waterpark, The Gulfarium and the Track Amusement Park. Walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, ice cream parlors and great restaurants. Great location with plenty of amenities. 2 story balcony had an excellent beach view. Plenty of room for our group to spread out and enjoy the space. Great communication with the host during arrival/departure. Beach chair/Umbrella setup an incredible bonus! Some of the info on the listing needs updating but certainly not a deal-breaker (tennis courts are no longer on property, wifi info). Overall we were incredibly satisfied and looking forward to going back to the Destin/Miramar Beach area next summer.

I have never written a bad review but feel compelled to do so for this rental. The unit is old and outdated. There are wall to wall mirrors on one wall in the downstairs master along with huge mirrors behind the bed. The views are not as described. There is a small side view of the beach and ocean but not a full view. The unit was dirty; rust in the fridge, and dryer. Laundry area was dirty with hole in the wall. There are broken baseboards in the kitchen. The windows have a dirt or sea salt film on them. There are tissues under the living room table to hold one of the legs up. The cushions fall off the couch when you sit on it for more than 15 mins. The audio on the TV went in and out. One of the elevators was out for 4 of our 7 days leaving only 2 working elevators. This resulted in long waits. The trash compactor was disabled on our 2nd day. Garbage had to be taken to the dumpster which is not close by the units. Bathrooms (shower and toliet areas) are very tiny. You will be told to park under the tennis courts. We were excited to learn the rental had tennis courts. Imagine our surprise when we found out the tennis courts no longer exist. Not sure how we were supposed to park under something that doesn't exist. My daughter and were looking forward to using the gym as a part of our exercise regimen. Another disappointment since the gym is closed, indefinitely apparently. This unit is NOT worth the almost 4,000 we paid for a weeks rental.

I asked to check in a hour early because I didn’t realize the time difference from North Carolina, the owner said no problem if the cleaning lady was finished,well she wasn’t matter of fact she was not done until an hour and half past our check in time so we didn’t get into our condo until almost 5 pm our check in time was 3;00 the rest of trip was good until the last day they were drilling and banging all morning and afternoon long they finally stopped at bedtime thank god

Destine Condo

This condo is in a perfect location. We didn't want to leave and the kids are talking about going back next year. A bathroom for every bedroom is really nice with a family. The property manager was always on top of communication both before and during our trip. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Fabulous balconies and views!

The elevator is outside your door. A very short walk to boardwalk to beach. Pool was also close to the room. It's very well maintained. Even in August, the water was not too warm.
