Beautiful home, lovely location and wonderful host! We so enjoyed our first vacation to Niagara Falls, and will definitely return to this spot again if it's available!
The house was sparkling clean, the location was very convenient to wineries and shops, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this location.
Host is extremely responsive and helpful. House is just as it looks in pictures. Location is outstanding. Overall experience was better than expected and expectations were high.
we stayed at NOTL for a wedding - this place was excellent! extremely clean, short walk into town, large bedrooms. plenty of space for 5 adults! thanks so much!

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Hope to host you again in the future.
Kind regards,
Dina
The house was beautiful and well stocked. We loved being able to walk everywhere. The sandbar in the corner was one of our favorite meals. It’s only about 25 mins to the falls but staying there was like going back in time. It was the laid back vacation we desired. The small town is a gem. If your into wine it’s definitely a place to go.
Couldn't have been more pleased. This house was in a great neighborhood and was the perfect jumping off spot for all of our excursions. Toronto, Niagara Falls, the Canadian countryside North of Pickering, Kitchner and the surrounding areas, and of course the gem that is Niagara on the Lake. Everything was fantastic. Thank you Dina for your excellent attention to details and prompt service. We will see you again!

Thank you, Robert, for taking the time to review us. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to hosting you again.
All the best,
Dina
This was the first visit to NOTL and we had a great time exploring the area. The VRBO was a reasonable walk from all the action and a short walk to a great restaurant, wine bar and bakery. The home is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. There were 2 couples in our group so we were disappointed that the larger bedroom upstairs had an en suite bathroom but the second bathroom (for the other couple) was 2 levels down. It wasn’t a big issue but not ideal either. The kitchen was very well stocked, better than other VRBOs we’ve stayed at.
Really great weekend! The house is in a great location, walking distance (20 mins) from downtown
Lots of room for the 5 of us, could have comfortably fit another few
Dina was great and very responsive
Our group truly enjoyed our stay! The home was exactly as pictured and the location was exactly as shared in the write up. It was a long overdue vacation for the 6 of us so expectations were high - and they were all met! We were walking distance to the historic Queen street and a very short walk to the local Tim’s for coffee. The home was spotless and our hostess thought of everything. From little snacks left to Kleenex in each room and multiple hooks in the bathrooms. These sound like small things but they make a stay that much easier. Having the back deck to relax on was also a treat. Our hostess responded so quickly and went above and beyond in accommodating our check-in and out requests. We wouldn’t change a thing and every one of the 6 of us would stay here again!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and in a convenient location and the host was very responsive. I’m sure we’ll be back again.
Great base for our trip to Niagara on the Lake - wildlife viewing included
Excellent house. Well equipped. Great viewing of local wildlife and birds whilst sipping your glass of wine on the front porch of an evening.
We had a toddler with us so had to watch/make a barricade to stop small child heading for the stairs in the house!
Local hostelry served gluten free meals so bonus for us!
Great home with all the necessary amenities and then some. Located close to town yet in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. We were 6 adults and found the accommodations perfect for us. The owner answered all of our queries in a timely manner and offered us lots of options on restaurants and vineyards in the area. We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend this property.
I recently stayed at this property and was very impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the home. The living and dining room and kitchen area was quite open which allowed for comfortable gathering. Each bedroom was a good size and the bathrooms each had all the toiletries you would need. The owner was terrific in responding immediately to any questions I had. The house has a lovely backyard deck to sit on and the neighborhood is very quiet. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Amazing location: 2 min walk to a local pub with a big patio, 4 min bike ride to the Heritage trail, and a decent walk to Queen St. to restaurants and lake front. Dina was very helpful during the check-in process and connected with me during our stay to make sure we were fine. I'd recommend this cottage to other families or groups.
Very clean and perfect location for our girls weekend! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!

Liked: Cleanliness
Probably better in summer.
Clean and neat. Location was good. However basement fireplace and heat did not work therefore 7th person had to sleep on the couch in the living room. Received very small reimbursement for inconvenience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our too short stay. Bike riding, winery tastings, great food & drink . We ate twice at the golf course- some of our best meals ever! The ambiance of the old town is so enjoyable -There is something for everyone. The cow ice cream shop has outrageous cones. Walkers fruit stand - outstanding pies & fresh cooked corn on the cob. Some of us swam in Lake Ontario watching the sunset at Ryerson Park. I had previously visited here to take advantage of the Shaw festival. This time we weren’t able to but the town is worth visiting for whatever type of vacation you want.

About the host
Hosted by Dina Miller
My husband and I grew up in the Toronto area and met while in University. We're both professionals working in Toronto and living in Mississauga. We have a daughter and a son, one in University the other a graduate. We are blessed to have gown up and worked in this area of Canada that has so much to offer.
Why they chose this property
My husband and I have been getting away to Niagara-on-the-Lake for the last 30 years. It's a place that always makes us feel like we are far away from our everyday world with so many places to relax, play and enjoy. From cycling along the Niagara Parkway and vineyards to enjoying all culinary delights of the region, from choosing a challenging golf game at Legends of Niagara to introducing golf to our children at Peach Tree golf course or enjoying a lakeside scenic executive game at the oldest golf course in North America right in town, enjoying a street party, the theatre, a concert or a night at the casino to taking the children to living museums, waterparks or hiking, from outlet shopping, to art galleries and endless specialty shops, this and so many more activities for all ages and stages and tastes - there's something for everyone.
The feel of the town and the region has been a great way to re-energize just an hour away from the Toronto area - like a vacation to another world without the stress of a long commute. We fell in love with this spot so many years ago and continue to enjoy all it has to offer. As such, we finally purchased a home here that has a relaxed, casual feel. We trust that you will feel the same in our home and in this beautiful little town.
We chose this particular property because it is walking distance to everything but just far away enough from the busy downtown street that there will not be too many people parking and walking on the street. It is a quiet residential area but there are a variety of restaurants (from an award winning restaurant to a local neighbourhood sports bar), a bakery, bike rentals, parks and so much more just a block away. It is a 15 minute walk to the golf course and lake and a 15 minute walk to tennis courts and downtown Queen Street with shops, theatres and restaurants.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with this home because of the open and casual feel. It is perfect for families and friends alike with open common areas where you can be separate yet connected - with a main living area and a family room area separated by a half story stairwell. There is lots of parking such that we can all arrive and depart with our own cars based on our own individual busy schedules. We prefer the location because we love to walk and like the quiet nights and mornings the area affords - just beyond the summer crowds on Queen St. yet there are many amenities just a block away.
