About this property
B&B in traditional Dutch farmhouse
In our beautifully situated farmhouse we have realized two guestrooms wíth own bathroom. Sleeping well is a must, so we did not save on the bed; a great mattress, comfortable duvet of our own alpacas and sufficient length for tall guests (220x240 cm).
If you want to stay with three persons in the room, we have an extra (folding) bed available.
There is a little beach, on the IJsselmeer, in about a 5 minute walk. The beach is not only popular by sunbathers, but because of the shallow water also very popular by (kite)surfers. If you want to see more of the surroundings, than the bicycle is the means of transport to take. Many beautiful villages and the city of Hoorn are only steps away from Schellinkhout. There is so much to do and to experience that even if the weather is not that beautiful for a day you do not have to be bored. In the vicinity of Hoorn, no lack of restaurants.

Bianca was a very nice host.We were greeted on her farm by two friendly dogs, 6 cats and 25 Alpakas who are the cutest animals on the planet. The room is as described, new, clean and nice. The house is in a very nice neighborhood. Only a short walk to a small beach. The room has the basics you need and even a duvet filled with her own Alpaka wool. Bianca was very helpful and organized bikes, maps, boat and bike rental information. She cares for her guests and helps in any way she can. She surprised us with a wonderful breakfast delivered to the room. We would definetely return. Thanks Bianca!

This BnB was truly an amazing experience. From the personal tour of the land and wonderful conversations with the host to the outstanding breakfast and all the little touches in between, our stay was unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend this AirBnB more, especially if you are looking to take a step back and enjoy some breathing room from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant Amsterdam. Thank you again, Bianca!

Bianca’s Airbnb was just lovely. Aside from an idyllic setting, definitely enhanced by very sweet alpacas, Bianca offered information about the area and the farm itself which contributed to our enjoyment. She was easily available and a joy to meet Much appreciation, Alan and Carol

Ci tornerei subito!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Bianca. We had such a wonderful time. Bianca provided excellent instruction on how to find her place from the airport by taking the train. The breakfast is incredible and that alone had us wishing we could stay. Bianca is willing to answer any questions we had about the Alpaca’s. We were also quite happy to love her dogs. Each day when we got our breakfast Bianca provided tips on a fun activity to do for the day. We had the chance to explore so much of the area that perhaps people that just visit Amsterdam miss. Oh and the bed is definitely comfortable. It was so nice to be able to meet Luna. I have no hesitations that if I visit the area again I would love to stay.

Bianca is a wonderful host. Her room is big, very clean with good decoration. She recommended us to take the trip of Steam Train and boat trip which was wonderful. We have a good day with the locals and also enjoying the Windmill which I was looking for. We took a lot of beautiful pictures and also have a good day in Hoorn Harbour. I would recommend you to stay in Bianca’s B&B if you are animals lovers like us and the surrounding also beautiful, good for holiday, cycling and relaxing. You will love it.

To stay at Biancas and Tijmens "Little ranch" was a great experience and also the best way to relax after a "sightseeing-day" around Hoorn :) the first evening Bianca and I was sitting in the kitchen and she showed me some nice places and attractions for the next day with her laptop. She is a very lovely person! She served us the breakfast with handmade Yoghurt and Marmelade. Fresh and warm bread and tasty cheese. We slept in a big bed with a 1,80 blanket! The big room and the bathroom was clean. The wool was from her Alpaka Luna :) there are so many thinks to know about her and her animals. After the First day we were laying in the Garden and relaxed in the sun. My Granny was talking about plants and flowers with her :) My tip: take the chance to stay at her Home!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bianca’s B&B. Friendly environment, peaceful scenery and outstanding hospitality. Alpacas definitely occupy very special place in our hearts now.

Our two night stay was fantastic. This is truly a hidden gem. Right on their farm with alpacas and ana amazing view of tulip fields and the countryside. It was a perfect launching point for us to stay in the country side while visiting Amsterdam and surrounding area. Bianca served us incredible breakfast with fresh breads, strawberries and yogurt from their dairy. Would reccomend for sure.

Bianca was a wonderful host, and we had such a great time staying at her place. The room was HUGE and the bed was honestly the most comfortable thing we've ever slept on, it was so hard to get out of bed! She made us a delicious breakfast and was accommodating to our dietary requirements, and had excellent communication leading up to the stay. The area surrounding is really beautiful, and we had a great time cycling around. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
