Here you are on vacation in West Friesland in a very nice vacation home in Opperdoes. Opperdoes is known for the Opperdoezer Ronde, a famous potato variety. The region is home to many castles, palaces and waterfront farms. In the garden you will have a good rest. The cottage also has a beautiful appearance and is full of details of past decades, coupled with the comfort of today. Alcove for 2 persons on the 1st floor. The nearby town of Medemblik has a cozy harbor and beautiful old town. Take the steam train from Hoorn to Medemblik. It passes behind Opperdoes and stops at a beautiful station from 1887. Also worth seeing are the Radboud tower, the Bakery Museum and the Railway Museum. West Friesland has a varied landscape and is also a good vacation destination for water sports enthusiasts due to its location on the Ijsselmeer. You can rent directly from the owner a canoe available at the apartment.

weekend Opperdoes

Mooie locatie voor een korte vakantie. Alleen hadden wij de pech dat juist in dat weekend de buren op het idee waren gekomen eens lekker te gaan klussen op zaterdag en zondag 😁 weg rust! De gastheer en gastvrouw doen er werkelijk alles aan om het de gasten naar de zin te maken.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Häuschen hat einen ganz eigenen Charme und ist eine klasse für sich. Es passt perfekt zu dem ruhigen Örtchen und macht es damit zu einer kleinen Wohlfühloase! Kann es nur weiter empfehlen!

Nette und sehr gemütliche Unterkunft; alles sauber und ordentlich; sehr schön dekoriert; sehr gute Heizung (das haben wir in ähnlichen Ferienwohnungen schon anders erlebt); super freundliche Vermieterin, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt; wegen der (für neu-deutsche Verhältnisse) schmalen Stiege ins Dachgeschoss und dem Zugang zum Bett nur für etwas wendigere Bewohner geeignet.
