Private home with views of Frenchmans bay, 40 minutes to Acadia & Bar Harbor.

Enjoy grilling and sunset on the deck with Ocean Views of Frenchman Bay! Walk to Carters Beach to seaglass hunt, and catch some sun! Sail, kayak or play tennis within walking distance all on Hancock Point!
Enjoy the eagles, osprey, deer, and other wildlife while relaxing on the deck. There are ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and upstairs bedrooms!!

This is an open floorplan home with new high end appliances. The kitchen has a chefs gas range, new fridge, and new dishwasher. There is also a new washer/dryer off the kitchen in the laundry room.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, master bath, soaker tub and skylights.
2nd bedroomon the second floor has 2 twin beds, skylight and full bathroom.
3rd Bedroom is on the 1st floor with a Queen bed and full bath.

The living room has a new queen sized sofa bed for that extra guest. Flat screen TV, free WIFI and a grand piano are also in the living room! The formal dining room seats 8 to 10 people comfortalby!! Or enjoy the breakfast nook off the kitchen with views of the bay!!

Bar Harbor is a 30 to 40 minute drive from the house, and about the same to Schoodic! There are many trails closer to the house, Carters Beach, restaurants, grocery stores with in minutes.

The Peirce family owned numerous properties in this immediate area starting around 1900. Converse was one of four boys who grew up in Philadelphia and spent summers here in Hancock . Converse and Esther Pierce were married in 1965 and brought their combined family of eight kids from Atlanta to Maine every summer. After moving to Pelham, New York in 1970, The trip became much easier. Esther and Converse built this house as their retirement home in 1995 and became full-time residents.
