The mountains, the sea, the woods, lakes, and the people make this one of the most unique and enjoyable places we have ever known. We chose this part of Mount Desert Island because it offers the best of both worlds: the peaceful feeling of being tucked into the woods, with easy access to the places that make a visit to MDI special.

Glenwood Pond Cottage sits on a quiet private road surrounded by pine forest, so it feels removed from the crowds and bustle of Bar Harbor.
