I was very grateful for this backyard spot! I needed a quiet place to cozy up after long days of work and this was great. I felt like I was surrounded by the trees and flowers (so much better than a hotel).

Great little spot

Had a very nice stay here for a week to visit friends and family in the bay area. Great location for public transportation. Clean, quiet, and great for a couple. Julie was very responsive and even let us check in early which we greatly appreciated.

Delightful Detached Studio for a Solo Traveller

This detached backyard studio unit was perfect for my solo work trip to Berkeley. The space was cozy and clean and provided a wonderful home base while far from home.

Charming and Close to Campus

I came to do some research at the University. The place was exactly what I needed, Julie was quick to reply to all my messages, and the neighbourhood was lovely. I walk with a cane and walked to and from the BART. Great experience.

Comfortable, Quiet, and Convenient

I really enjoyed my stay here. Check-in information was clear and detailed, and access was easy. The space is laid out nicely and well appointed. The bed is indeed quite comfortable, and there is a comfortable lounge chair too. The kitchen has a good set of basic tools. If you like walking like I do, access to Downtown Berkeley, North Berkeley, and other parts of the city are less than 30 minutes away on foot. This is a quiet location, and the garden is well kept and beautiful.

Great little spot

This converted garage was just right for me. I could walk to the BART and buses. The space heater worked fine to take the chill out at night. No issues with the amenities. I had an urgent problem and the owner answered the phone immediately and got it resolved. Quiet, nice garden, nice neighborhood to walk around.

Unfortunately, we discovered that this unit had major plumbing issues and an ant infestation during our stay, so we had to be check out early and find a new place to stay. The host was accommodating and provided a partial refund, which we appreciated for the misrepresentation of the condition and for the inconvenience. Until repairs are done, I would not recommend renting this unit.

I'm not sure what happened here. they stayed 10 days and then wanted a full refund? No one has complained about the ants before or since so it was weird. No plumbing issues now as our reviews show. we are SuperHosts on the other home-share app with over 400 reviews. I'm sorry it was such a terrible stay for you.
