About this property
Victorian Charm at the Point, one block to beach
Come stay at Whispering Waves as seen on Cape May Times. Relax and experience Cape May Point the way it has been enjoyed for more than one hundred years in this Victorian Gothic cottage built in 1881. The rooms are bright and airy and include a large dining room with sitting area, the perfect place for a large family to gather and create seashore memories.
Situated on a stately street where President Harrison summered, the home has five bedrooms (2 on the first floor), high ceilings, and charming architectural details. It is ideally situated one block from the beach, Pavillion Circle Park, and The Red Store.
Read your book in the garden, take a nap on the upstairs sleeping porch or enjoy the sunny beaches, fine dining, wineries, breweries, birding or Victorian architecture. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
Bookings during the season are weekly, Saturday to Saturday. If you would like to visit for a long weekend off-season, please enquire with owner.

My family has been visiting Cape May for generations. The white sand, crisp waves and Victorian homes make it so you never want to leave!

This well-loved Victorian was in the same family for more than 100 years.
What makes this property unique
Time slows down when you enter Whispering Waves. The sound of the waves crashing and a sea breeze will lull you into a peaceful state of mind. If you want time away from the beach, hop on your bike and visit the wildlife sanctuary, the historic lighthouse, or the winery and local farms all just a short ride or walk away. If you want to leave the Point, Cape May is a ten minute drive down the road where you will find gourmet restaurants, bars, and shopping.
