Father and kids ski trip

We try to get to mammoth 3 times a year and this was one of those weekends. You never really know what you will get in a new rental and we loved this place. It was perfect for us 3 and so convenient to the village, you don’t need to go anywhere else.

Ideal location for skiing, short walk to village/gondola, shorter walk to shuttle that runs to Eagle

Older property but well kept. I really enjoyed the working wood fireplace insert. Sauna and jacuzzi above average. No spices, oils, anything extra in kitchen do bring your own!

So Convenient- Near Village 2 Full Baths

This VRBO is all about location. Very close walk to village for ski/snowboarding or restaurants. The unit is clean and has 2 full baths. Stayed with son and we both had our own bathroom. There are also two hot tubs and saunas that are great after snow activity. Our only issue was internet wifi went out from cable provider. But owner quickly fixed with Verizon hot spot. Great stay and highly recommend.

Convenient location - be prepared to walk up 50 steps to get in

This condo is very conveniently located and it has a wonderful wood-burning stove and balcony but it is in need of repair/ upgrades. There is a huge crack running down the ceiling and wall near the loft area, the counter is super loose and feels like it might fall. There is no food or spices and oils with the exception of salt and pepper and bring extra blankets if you have someone sleeping on the pullout sofa.

Great location

terrible booking process and confusing check in process but place is great once you’re in. For booking you have to pay outside the app through a separate website but the emails go to junk so almost missed it and got the booking g cancelled. Really bad from a customer perspective. The check in was a bit confusing. Had to reach out to request instructions to check in instead of them providing them. Then they require a text from bishop to unlock the unit which doesn’t make sense and I was driving late at night so that didn’t happen. No instructions to find the unit in the complex. Buildings have letters but the host never provided the letter C for some reason which would have made finding the place easier. Overall great place but they could do better on the communication around check in.

Nostalgia Trip

Grew up skiing Mammoth in the 1960's and 70's, last time was 40 years ago. This unit was like a time capsule, no updates for 40 years, right down to the sagging formica countertop and no dishwasher. The size was good and it's only a 10 minute walk to the village gondola. Epic snowfall was great for skiing, less so for this property, limited parking and hard to remove decals applied to the windows of guests that parked where they could. About 30 steps up stairs from parking to the unit door, NOT CLEARED OF SNOW AND ICE, several inches thick on most steps. First day I asked a young maintenance man driving a white pickup if the steps would be cleared, his reply "only if you do it, there might be a shovel in your unit". This was while he was applying another parking sticker to another guest's car.

Perfect mountain house

Great condo for our family of 3. Loft was a cozy sleeping den with enough room downstairs for meals, lounging and games. Easy short walk to the village with our equipment to ski. Would stay again!

New years retrest

Great little cabin; heat, water, parking, all great. Only down side was no dishwasher, but not a big deal. Electric stove was adequate for basic cooking.
