Owner was quick to respond and address issues. It’s a great house with lots of room and a very nice pool. Kitchen is stocked with everything you might need on an extended stay. We would definitely rent this property again.

Fantastic house

This beautiful home was perfect for our three generation family. Kitchen was well supplied with everything you could need. The pool and outside area is fantastic - loved sitting out on the porch even on a rainy day. All beds and furniture were comfy. Martin, the host, was very informative about some of the nuances at the house. There was a small problem when we first arrived and he personally immediately responded and straightened it out. I would definitely recommend this home and host to anyone

Fantastic Summer Vacation in Southampton

We had an amazing vacation here! We rented Martin’s home for a week in July, and invited our extended families to join us for a few nights at a time. The home was just right for our needs - quite spacious with 5 beds, 4 full baths, plus the bonus outside shower (my favorite). The home’s décor is tasteful and elegant, the layout is comfortable, and the high ceilings give an even roomer feel. The VRBO pictures do not do justice to this lovely home. The central air worked perfectly on the several hot/humid days. We cooked many meals in the chef’s kitchen and on the gas BBQ, and loved dining al fresco on the patio. The house had something for everyone – swimming pool, gardens, basketball hoop, plus the poker table, foosball and board games for rainy days. Book lovers can have a field day with what seemed like hundreds of books spread throughout the rooms. The house is located on a quiet wooded dead-end street. We saw several deer, wild turkeys, chipmunks and even chickens nearby, and walked to a picturesque bay beach less than a mile away. Within a 15 minute drive you will find ocean and bay beaches, Southampton LIRR station, the villages of Southampton and Sag Harbor, grocery stores, wineries, and many restaurants. Drive a bit further and you can explore the other Hamptons beaches/villages, Montauk, the North Fork farms and wineries, or shop at the outlets in Riverhead. We were sorry to leave this peaceful getaway and cannot wait to return again!
