Great location just outside of Cassis

It was the perfect place for us to spend the weekend while on a two week sales trip from the USA. Spent the weekend hiking the callanques. Weather was great and it was a nice break from our business activities.

Horrible place

While the property is lovely, the owner is horrible. She ruined our south of France experience. Bad ant problem in kitchen, wasps dive bombing the pool. We were told it was normal. Only one half rolls of tp given for each bath. One towel per person. No pool towels and we were told inside towels could not be used outside so we were unable to use the pool. We had to beg for a broom, otherwise we could have spent our days with dead ants (from us spraying) all over the floor and counter. Owner made us feel like we were unwelcome and in boot camp with all of the “you can’t do’s”. On a happier note, my daughter had rented another place close by and didn’t have any of these problems so we spent a lot of time at that property. My suggestion is to look around before you book this place.

Hello Mrs. Pellegrini, I allow myself to answer because I am very surprised by your comments and the problems you lie about your stay in my villa La Vassal. You mention that you asked for a broom during your stay, I am very surprised because in no case you told me this request and the villa is equipped with 2 vacuum cleaners, a broom and a broom for clean the floor. I recognize that during your stay, there were ants in the kitchen, as soon as you told me the problem of ants, I came to deposit the next day traps ants. I also apologized for the fact that unfortunately I can not control. Pool towels; we had several exchanges by mails before your arrival indicating that the linen was entirely founi "except towels of swimming pool". I do not understand your surprise about not having pool towels provided during your stay. Effectively I signal to each entry of tenants not to use white douhe shower towels for outdoor use. I am also very surprised that you could not use the pool because you did not have towels, but relieved that you could find extra towels in the villa that your daughter rented in the area. The linens include: Complete set of sheets, the beds are prepared and made with 4 cushions by beds, a shower towel and a hand towel. There are two tea towels, shower mats in each bathroom. The villa and the rental also include all the necessary welcome products; olive oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, sopalin, etc etc I put in each toilet 1 roll of toilet paper new and not half. When staying is the tenant to feed according to his needs. I also put on every charcoal and barbecue fire, NESPERSSO coffee capsules, dishwashing dish, a new product, new dishwashing liquid and new sponge. It seems to me to have responded to your requests during your stay and especially during the check out, you have absolutely not made me share all these comments. I still take note of your remarks and seek, despite everything, to amiliorate for my next travelers. I wish you a pleasant day and I am deeply sorry that you could not find what you expected in my villa. cordially Vanessa

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus ist wunderschön, sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Drei große Schlafzimmer mit drei großen, bequemen Doppelbetten, zwei davon mit direktem Austritt auf die Terrasse. Ein schönes großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne und zwei kleine Bäder mit Toiletten. Wunderschöner, riesiger Garten mit kleinen Pool, tollen Sitzgelegenheiten und tollen Pflanzen. Das Haus liegt super, so dass man einen Bäcker, Gemüseladen, Schlachter und Feinkostladen (am Ortseingang von Cassis) in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Zum Hafen von Cassis läuft man ca. 30 Minuten, direkt vorm Haus fährt auch ein Bus. Insgesamt eine wunderschöne Ecke der Provence, von der aus man tolle Ausflüge machen kann. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die bei Problemen immer gleich zur Stelle war!

Un weekend prolongé au top du top !

Je recommande vivement cette maison que ce soit en famille ou entre amis. D une part la propriétaire Vanessa est très accueillante, flexible et réactive aux messages. D autre part la maison est très bien située, très propre. Il y a tout ce qu il faut pour occuper un ou des enfants, tout ce qu il faut pour passer un moment de detente. Nous avons adoré! Ein herrliches Haus auf einem tollen Grundstück das wir sehr genossen haben.

Perfect villa for a relaxing family getaway

The villa is spacious and well equipped with 3 large bedrooms with individual AC in each. One room has an en-suite bath, and there is in addition a large bathroom and a smaller WC. We are a family of 5, and felt we had all the space we needed and more. The outside is very nice with a pool and a lot of space. There is plenty of furniture and sun beds, parasols and an outdoor dining table where we ate all our meals. The villa is located a short distance outside Cassis proper. We would not recommend this for someone without a car, but in the end we walked into town on most occations. Our hostess Vanessa gave us great service with excellent communication. We recommend this property without reservations and will be happy to visit again.

Magnifique maison bien entretenue et propre avec beaucoup d’espace. Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille au calme dans ce petit coin de paradis. 30 minutes à pied du bord de mer de Cassis. Nous avons profité de faire de belles balades tôt le matin et repos l’après-midi au bord de la piscine à l’ombre des parasols ou à l’ombre des arbres sur les hauteurs de la propriété. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mme Garde qui est très sympathique et à votre disposition si nécessaire. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit. D’ailleur, c’est une adresse que l’on va garder.

La villa Vassal est située au calme sur les hauteurs de Cassis. Cette villa est décorée avec goût, est très spacieuse, et est très bien équipée. Les extérieurs sont également bien entretenus. L'accueil de Mme Garde est très agréable. Elle saura également vous indiquer les bonnes adresses de restaurants aux alentours, et vous conseiller si vous êtes des adeptes de plongée sous marine.

Villa moderne, tout confort très agréable pour un séjour en famille. Située à 3 min du centre ville de cassis et on se sent en pleine nature. Rien ne manque, tout a été pensé pour passer un séjour très agréable. La maison est décorée avec goût et est très propre. La propriétaire est très accueillante et disponible. Nous reviendrons.

Très belle maison

Très belle et moderne maison nichée dans la verdure et située à 3 mn en voiture du centre de cassis. Idéale pour une grande famille avec des enfants. Nous étions 8 très à l'aise. Les enfants ont pu apprécier la petit cabane en bois au fond du jardin Tout a été bien pensé, la maison propose tout le confort nécessaire et essentiel pour profiter pleinement de son séjour. La propriétaire est très disponible et à l'écoute. nous reviendrons.
