Lake Front Hot Springs Village Vacation Retreat

Conveniently located on Lake DeSoto, our home invites you with a breath taking view! From the moment that you walk inside you will feel at home. Outdoors the waterfall that cascades to the lake will mesmerize you.

Recently renovated, the house comfortably sleeps eight to ten in four bedrooms furnished with two king size beds, a California king size bed and a set of twin beds. A queen size sleeper sofa can also accommodate two. The house has three full bathrooms. Two were recently remodeled with large dual head walk-in showers.

The decks are huge and provide a commanding view of the backyard ponds, waterfalls, patios (with fire pit), boat dock and lake. You can cook in the kitchen or use the gas BBQ grill, but be sure to enjoy the view while you eat.

Bring your own boat, launch it at the nearby marina and tie up at the dock. Enjoy water sport from your boat or go swimming in the lake at the ‘beach’ on the left side of the dock. Steps into the water lead to a pea gravel bottom that is shallow and easy on the feet.

The house is located just three miles inside the main gate and right off of DeSoto Blvd, the main east-west road in the Village. Nearby are DeSoto golf course, DeSoto swimming pool, mini golf, tennis courts, kid’s recreation center and hiking trails. All the other golf courses are no more than a 20-minute drive away, and easy to find from DeSoto Blvd.

The house is equipped with all the amenities you would expect in a luxury home. It includes a washer/dryer, microwave, ceiling fans, big screen TV, four other TV’s, three VCR’s, three DVD players, stereo, cable TV and high speed Internet/WiFi. This is your home away from home. The house also comes with four kayaks, a pedal boat, life jackets and water toys/floats.

If you have a group that is too large for this house, see the listing for our house on San Mateo Place, VRBO #160563, which sleeps 6-8 people and is only a few steps away. Our third Lake DeSoto house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and great lake views and access, VRBO #191874. We will do a package deal if you rent multiple houses! In the summer, June through August, we rent with a one week minimum, Saturday to Saturday.

We also have pontoon boats, aka party barge, for hire by our renters. Please inquire for details!

Clean, cute, house is adorable in and out. The drive way should be told about straight down hill tight fit for 2 cars. That was only complaint. The house needs new pictures of the house with new twin beds and flat screen televisions for VROB.

We all agreed it was nice house on nice property. Only disappointment was waterfall not working, and no lights for us to make it safely to and from swim dock.

Picturesque Lake View

Great lake view and several patios to enjoy the view. Fire pit a plus and beautifully landscaped backyard. House furnishings are a little dated but there are 3 comfortable king size beds! Cor, the owner, is very responsive and friendly. The house is close to the HSV main gate and main road. It was perfect for 3 couples on a golf trip.

Perfect place to spend time with family by the water

The house layout was perfect for multiple areas of us to relax and enjoy each other‘s company. The host was very accommodating and very easy to contact. Guys’ Golf Trip

Three buddies and I enjoyed this house for 4 nights in April during a golf trip. It was perfect for relaxing on the decks or patio or by the lake, with a wonderful relaxing view of the water. Great for grilling and drinks. Older but comfy couches and recliners in front of huge tv. Everyone enjoyed their own room. Would rent again.

Pull out bed broken covered in mouse droppings and not usable, 2 in our group ended up on blow ups , the whole house could have used a good cleaning. Water fountains and ponds were stagnant broken and landscaping down to the lake were over grown ( one selling point for choosing this property) over all we managed but not what payed for.

Charming Lake House

Our family had a nice time recently at this charming lake house. It was as advertised. We had a little hiccup at the beginning of the trip, but the host was quick to resolve the issue and help how he could. The Village is quiet and serene, and not too far from all the touristy things we wanted to do.

A great place to stay

Very clean, beautiful view. Great accommodations. We were 10 people aged 75 to 5, and everyone enjoyed the stay. Only negative--the driveway is a 45° angle and we flatlanders had a bit of a struggle, but that is mild compared to everything else the place had to offer.

Its a large home with enough room for your family to spread out. The backyard is the best part, even though it was chilly we couldn't resist sitting on the dock and playing in the water.
