Eguiles Vacation

We were in Eguilles for our daughters wedding. What a perfect base we found with Yvettes villa. Facilities were superb with air conditioning and the pool. Great location to explore Provence. Cannot speak highly enough of Yvette for hosting our stay.

Fantastic stay with many happy memories

This is a gorgeous 3 bedroom villa, with a beautiful pool and set in mature and private gardens. The place was perfect for us and our three teens. We loved the comfortable lounge and modern kitchen, all the beds were incredibly comfortable too. Great location for visiting Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Marseille. Yvette was a very responsive host and a lovely lady. Many happy memories were made on our ten day stay. Would highly recommend

Beautiyful House!

A beautiful house with a gorgious garden and pool and a lot of space in and outside. We met a very friendly and helpful host, we could reach her anytime. The house is situated in a very nice surrounding and neighbourhood. We had a wonderful week!

Fabulous holiday in beautiful Provence

The villa is very comfortable and well equipped, with excellent kitchen facilities. The gardens are lovely, and the pool and air conditioning were an absolute godsend, given the unusual extremely hot temperatures during our stay in June 2019. Yvette is always readily available to help, answer any questions and resolve any issues. If we return to this part of Provence we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Yvette for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable.

Lovely house walkable to centre of town

Yvette’s home is very comfortable and has some great tech, such as adjustable sofas, lights on remote, sensor lights in bathroom for night use. You can feel that it’s used as a home rather than a purely rental accommodation and Yvette was very responsive before and during our stay. Good enclosed garden and security with garage for the car and locked gates, although the neighbourhood felt very safe. A nice playground a 10min walk away downhill. Uphill into Eguilles (and quite steep if pushing a buggy!) which is charming and a lovely bakery that we went to frequently. Also a small minimart in town, as well as a larger Casino supermarket a short 6min drive. We had a lovely stay and very convenient for visiting Aix-en-Provence.

Heerlijk huis, maar paar puntjes ter verbetering.

Het was die week heel heet, dus dolblij met dit huis met goede airco en fijn zwembad(-je)! Maar het dorp was een flinke klim de berg op voor ons dagelijkse broodje. De verhuurder is bovendien nogal gadgetfriek, dus alles gaat op afstand, automatisch en beetje irritant met óveral laders en snoeren ed. Het huis was erg vol en niet erg schoon. Maar echt fantastische plek verder!

Très belle et agréable maison

L’accueil par la propriétaire était super. La maison est très confortable, spacieuse et bien agencée. Nous avons passé un séjour délicieux en famille avec notre bébé d’1 an. La localisation est idéale pour visiter la Provence.

Wonderful experience

We had a great time at this excellent property. The house is very equipped and comfortable. The pool and garden are wonderful, we were able to stay a lot outside during extremely hot temperatures due to the good planning of the shades from the trees and the good size of the pool. The region is also good, we were near bigger cities with supermarkets, restaurants and stores; and not far from the beach, to where we made day trips. Yvette is a very welcoming host. Our family had a great time and I highly recommend it.

Charming house in a beautiful area.

We spent two weeks in Yvette’s charming house. We really enjoyed our time here. The house is very well equiped and has a lovely garden with a swimming pool. Also, Yvette was a very good host. Lastly, the nature is beautiful and there are many places to visit: Aix, Marseille, good restaurants and wine yards… So a wunderful home accompinied by beautiful surroundings!

Fantastic house in a great area!

This house was exactly as listed, a beautiful house in a great little town deep within Provence. Yvette was wonderful throughout the rental process, she responded promptly which was reassuring, she checked in often during our stay via text and was very gracious upon arrival and departure, we could not have asked for a better experience. The town has everything you would need from bakeries to a small super market, it is indeed an uphill walk but very much worth the morning walk to get fresh croissants! The house easily accommodated our family of 5, it is better in person and we were astonished at how updated the place was. We will definitely stay here again, very clean and well maintained with a great owner, a true jewel deep within Provence.

Perfect Place

This is a charming and comfortable house, well situated for hiking, art viewing, wine tours and relaxing in the lovely back garden with pool. Our host was kind and generous, texting to see if everything was all right several times. It is a quick five-minute walk up to the village where there are two bakeries, a fresh pasta shop, small grocery, wonderful produce stand and more. (The village is steeply uphill from the house, so you will have gotten your exercise by the time you eat your croissant!) It is a truly small, traditional village and shops are closed in the afternoons, so plan ahead if you want groceries or wine. The house has wonderful flow from the comfortable spacious interior to the covered patio and pool. The kitchen is well equipped. We managed to fit in a swim and a glass of rosé at the end of every day. Aix is an easy ten minute drive if you want more restaurant choices or upscale shopping. We also hiked Mont Saint Victoire, drove to the perched villages and spent another day hiking the Calanques. This is Cézanne country and the city of Aix offers access to museums and his studio.
