"On the Shores of this Western Paradise" Bayside Cottage is a traditionally styled home with thatched roof and whitewashed walls. The charming, 'real-world' escape is situated on the shores of the majestic Cashel Bay, directly located on the Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara.

- Cashel Hill, with a summit of 1000 feet, provides wonderful panoramic views of the Twelve Bens mountain range and coastal scenery.
- Roundstone, only 8 miles down the road, is a popular fishing village with the white sandy beaches of Gurteen and Dog’s Bay.
- Clifden, 'The Capital of Connemara', and the world famous Kylemore Abbey with its Victorian gardens and the Connemara National Park are less than a 25 minutes’ drive away.
- Boat trips to the Aran Islands, Inishboffin Island and the Killarney Fjord are popular tourists attractions.
