Beautiful 3,200 square foot home in the avenues was recently remodeled and has updated kitchen, bathrooms and A/C. Modern amenities meet a historic touch. Prime location between the university and downtown makes getting around the Salt Lake valley convenient. Home is ideal for remote work and is setup with gig fiber internet on a mesh network. Home is walking distance to Smith's (grocery store) and local restaurants. You are a short uber ride from downtown nightlife, the convention center, the University of Utah, Lindsay Gardens and Liberty Park, public transit also picks up 20 yards from the front door. This is an outdoor lovers paradise just blocks away from hiking and mountain biking trail such as the Crest, Bonneville Shoreline, and Bobsled trails. This was great for our family Christmas! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed and the giant dining room table was great for dining and games. The bedrooms were well appointed and we had plenty of bedding and towels. Dave was extremely responsive with any questions we had. He was even open to us putting up a live Christmas tree.

We booked this home for family and friends attending my daughter’s wedding. It is in an ideal location, has plenty of space, and was comfortable for everyone. Communication was great with the owner. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay on short notice!

Our daughter was admitted to Primary Children's hospital, and we needed a place to stay. This home was close, but it was also really nice! It's beautiful, clean, well stocked, and with a really great location. We would definitely stay here again (though hopefully in different circumstances).

A beautiful home enhanced the visit

We had visitors from out of town stay here instead of staying at a hotel and this made their visit so much more enjoyable! Most had never been to Utah so to stay in a lovely historical home elevated their experience. The hosts were easily accessible and accommodating. The home was beautiful and had everything they needed to enjoy their stay. So much room that one of the guests led a yoga session for everyone each morning!

We found the property to be just as it was represented in the listing. It was a great location. Dave was a great host, replying almost instantly to a slight issue we had getting into the place, turned out it was user error. Best stocked kitchen we have had in ages. High quality everything in kitchen as far pots, pans, collunders, knives and silverware, even nice storage containers for lest overs. We had eight of us there in town for a wedding. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms really worked out great. Don’t hesitate to rent this place.

I highly recommend this house if you are in the area. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable, house is well stocked and beautiful. Backyard was a delight, we sat out by the fire every night visiting. Perfect location!! We just loved our stay.
