Located in Northwest Wisconsin, our comfortable lakefront and golf course condominium rentals are 25 minutes north of Rice Lake; 30 minutes east of Spooner; and 35 minutes south of Hayward. There is always something to do in the Birchwood, Wisconsin area year round, from fishing on the Red Cedar Chain of Lakes, (Red Cedar, Balsam, Hemlock) and various other lakes, boating, hiking the Ice Age Trail, biking, golfing at Tagalong Golf Course, a Scottish Style 18-hole course, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, checking out the small towns and their specialty shops and many other things.

The lakeview was good and the facilities were nice. The condo was well furnished. The bed was not the nost comfortable. The sheets were great!

Beautiful but in need of easy fixes

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is gorgeous! Spacious condo with comfortable bed and furniture. It was dusty and the shower was in need of replacement for the price of the condo. Here are the easy fixes that made our stay a bit frustrating because they are have been in all our rentals.Please provide pizza pan, baking sheet, aluminum foil, spatula, coffee, at least medium quality paper towel and toilet paper. Also, additional lighting in the kitchen over the appliances.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this condo complex every year for the past 5 years. This unit 312 was by far the worst one we have stayed in. The bed and pillows are terrible and worn out. Barely slept. Unit is in poor condition, many light bulbs burned out, every door in squeaks excessively, smells musty/moldy, carpet is always wet in the corner of the bedroom like there is a leak coming from the jacuzzi. Shower head connections was shooting water out over the shower curtain getting the floor wet. The carpet throughout the unit looks original and needs to be replaced. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty when we got there. Instructions say to run dishes in the dishwasher when you leave but there is no appropriate detergent for the dishwasher. Patio is dirty and furniture needs to be replaced. Some other owners said they never see the owner of this unit and you can tell they are never there. If it were my place i would not leave it in the condition it's in. We will stay in this complex again next year but will avoid the 312 unit.

Not clean, very outdated

Spiders in jacuzzi tub, spiders in bathroom, old tvs that didn't work, the view is beautiful and nice lake but this unit was just not well kept, I tried reaching out to property management the night we arrived with no response. Still have no response a week later. For the price it just isn't worth it I guess.

Condo with view

This is an older but very nice resort with a beautiful golf course. The condo did have a strong musty order, we purchased a candle and air freshener, it could use a few updates such as removing the carpet, updating the bathroom, new tvs, maybe a ceiling fan in the bedroom. This is a nice size condo with a beautiful view of the water. There was a fun little tiki bar that had music in the afternoon where we met some great local people. We would visit again but would love to see a few upgrades.

Weekend night stay

We had a nice stay. Had to dig to figure out who the property manager was and get our keycode. This was our first stay so we weren't familiar with the process and did not receive the communication ahead of time. Everything else was wonderful! We will return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came up New years eve with 2 other couples. Of the 3 rooms that we all got Unit 312 was the worst one of the bunch. The TV's didn't work - we had to go to another unit to watch the Viking game. The unit smelt very musty - the whole stay (3 days) the other 2 units did not have the same smell. Also we ran the hot tub and the water started out black. After we ran the water through the pipes awhile it cleared up. We loved the area and property but would not stay in 312 again. Prefer nicer newer updated unit.
