Located in Northwest Wisconsin, our comfortable lakefront and golf course condominium rentals are 25 minutes north of Rice Lake; 30 minutes east of Spooner; and 35 minutes south of Hayward. There is always something to do in the Birchwood, Wisconsin area year round, from fishing on the Red Cedar Chain of Lakes, (Red Cedar, Balsam, Hemlock) and various other lakes, boating, hiking the Ice Age Trail, biking, golfing at Tagalong Golf Course, a Scottish Style 18-hole course, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, checking out the small towns and their specialty shops and many other things.

Perfect!! The only thing that was difficult was we couldn’t see the house numbers on the building.

This place was just as advertised. If you are looking for any suggestions it would be to put a king bed and tv in the bedroom.

After working on our cabin all day it is nice place to come back to and just relax. We would stay here again.

As soon as we arrived the smoke alarm was beeping, low battery I'm sure. Called for support to replace battery, they just removed the smoke alarm and seemed annoyed on the phone. Then, our refrigerator was chirping very loud and it wasn't cooling properly. Texted them on Saturday morning and we were told we could use side B's small refrigerator, I was making breakfast for 7 people, not ideal but we made it work. Walls are very thin and someone yelled at us for talking too loud from the hallway, when there were only 4 of us visiting at the island, no music or tv during the evening. Beautiful view of the lake and nice condo!!

Peaceful

My stay in this unit was about what I expected. It was clean and a very quiet, peaceful place. I think this may be in part due to it being the end of the season. Very few rooms were occupied. I really enjoyed biking around the area. The only thing that frustrated me was not having internet. The listing states that internet is available, yet no information was provided and nobody responded to my request.

The tub and shower were dirty (we had to wipe out), and we were surprised by freshly poured concrete in parking area on arrival Friday. My handicapped wife had some difficulty. Would recommend with certain warnings about cleanliness. Also, the golf course bar/restaurant can't be relied on to be open. We'll be back, but would hesitate to recommend it to others.

I called Mandi and she brought over 2 space heaters one for each bedroom. The condo warmed up nicely.

Good with some caveats.

Overall the room was very nice and good value for the price. However, the bed was itchy and didn't seem as clean as it should be. Entrance codes were a bit tricky to figure out. Management was quick and responsive. The pool and property are gorgeous. It was a good experience overall.
