Needed a stop off point for our family vacation and the Alpine house fit the bill 100%. We had 10 of our 13 family members staying for the weekend and everyone had plenty of room. Tracy was very prompt with communications and was extremely pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended the Alpine house for a larger group.

Have stayed here several times and enjoyed every trip. The separate bedrooms made it easy to be alone if you wanted, and the porch and balcony are a very relaxing place watch the sun go down. an occasional vehicle was all to break the solitude! great family getaway!

It was such a great location, and the view was spectacular! We appreciated all the bedrooms and baths, and the kitchen was well stocked. The property manager was so welcoming and helpful -- they had several brochures of tourist attractions in the area which we greatly appreciated. We hope to return soon for other occasions (we were there for a wedding). Super stay!

Wonderful family getaway

Three generations joined for a Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed every minute. The owner communicated clearly, responded promptly to questions and provided a wonderful place to enjoy relaxation, beautiful views and a great kitchen to gather and prepare our Thanksgiving meal.

Great stay

My friends and I were down here to do some work and the owner had great communication and she may check in easy and she extended our stay when Work did not go correctly for us. Just a real pleasure to work with. Hope I’m back in the area again.

Sunsets

We loved our stay at the Alpine House. We were fortunate to have perfect weather so our favorite activity was watching the gorgeous sunsets from the front porch. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful stay

We had four generations stay for a few days, and just loved it. Plenty of space in a beautiful setting. The double-deck porches gave us incredible views of the valley below. Well appointed bedrooms with very comfortable beds. I cooked a dozen meals for the gang, and the kitchen was the best I’ve ever had in a rental—double oven, 4 burner gas range plus a griddle, tons of gear and utensils, all put to good use. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Family vacation

The home was clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The neighbors were friendly and offered great tips for things to do in the area. It has beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay. This was a great area for exploring or just relaxing at the house. It easily accommodated our large family.

Family wedding trip

The location was perfect to attend family wedding at a near by venue. The view from the front of the home is breathtaking. The home is large with plenty of bedrooms for all of our adult kids and their families. The only problem was a playground is listed on the line but there is not one on sitelistedEverything is pretty much supplied A .

I am sorry that language was misleading for you. It was meant to let guests know there is space outside for kids/adults to play, toss a football, run, etc. We have removed that language altogether so no one else misunderstands in the future and thinks there are slides and swings as clearly, there are not. Our weekend stay

We had a blast staying here. The history of the house is amazing with all the documentation they have provided. And secondly and the most amazing is the views sitting on the front porch watching the sunset over the valley is spectacular. The beds are soft and the water pressure is good. With the covered parking our group’s motorcycle we’re protected from a storm that came threw. All in all would highly recommend this so rental. And the drive to the attractions was slightly longer but a very nice drive.

College pals reunion

Our diverse group of 6 had a great time at Alpine House. The older home is well stocked with all the essentials, plus some! We especially liked the en suite bathrooms. The views were beautiful especially in the evening. The owners were great as were the neighbor. We are already planning a return visit. Our only recommendation would be to “air out” the front bedroom. It seemed a bit musty.

Beautiful home and view

The owner of the house was easy to contact whenever I reached out to her. We had a family wedding and there were 9 of us. Plenty of room, space and privacy. There were so many extras in the house such as coffee, filters, laundry pods, tissues and so many places to hang out both inside and outside the house. Our favorite was sunset on the front porch. It’s where we always ended our day. The view is absolutely spectacular!
