About this property

This one story apartment (only 1 small step to enter) is in a great intown location. It's close to restaurants, churches, hospital, Amtrak Station, Joseph College (closed), Fair Oaks Dairy (6miles), Indiana Beach (30 miles), Indiana Dunes National Park (60 miles), Jasper Junction Flea Market and Thrift Store (6 miles).
The 2 bedroom (California King size bed and twin beds all are memory foam) is lovingly called "Nora" after my maternal grandmother. It has large kitchen with all utensils and cookware and coffee maker with free coffee. Refrigerator has ice maker and microwave comes with free popcorn. Gas range and dishwasher complete the kitchen. The ceramic bath has heated floor and is loaded with fluffy towels. The living room has large over stuffed chair, sofa and wingback chair and large "smart tv" and free wifi. Bring your Netflix and Amazon Prime passwords.The attached garage provides privacy and good shelter to protect hairdo and gowns.
I have just added a private patio with comfortable lounge chairs and bbq grill.
Perfect for visiting local friends and family. Great business headquarters either for a couple of days or a couple of months.
All of this at really fair price.

The property is called "Nora" which was my maternal grandmother's name.
She was widowed at a young age in a time when social responsibility was "every man for themselves". To survive she took in laundry which was done by scrub board and later she was given a used ringer style power washer. She had clothes lines that were 50 feet long behind her house. When all the laundry jobs were finished she cleaned houses four days a week. My mothers cloths were made of feed sacks when emptied to feed the chickens. She always had a huge garden which a horse team plowed for her. I remember picking cherries from her cherry tree which was just outside the back door. One of the great influences of my life.
The location of "Nora" is 1 block south of where Grandma Nora lived and died.
