Visiting my first grandchild

The place was perfect for for my visit. My son lives in Rensselaer so I was very close to him. It was clean and there were no problems problems

Short stay

Overall the stay was good. Some bad things: smelly dirty dishes in dishwasher, old coffee left in coffee pot, excessive dog poop in the mulch in back yard. Would be nice to have a little grass in back area instead of all mulch. For being on main road it was pretty quiet. Would use this location again if available.

In a previous life I traveled at least 45 days a year and became exceptionally tired of staying in motels even very nice motels. After staying in a Vrbo property I decided to only travel in non-motel properties. LOVE THEM!! I want to provide exceptionally CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE properties and properties that people can feel like they are in a HOME and not a motel.

Why they chose this property

Only 1 1/2 blocks from Jasper County Courthouse and restaurants. Easy access to all points of interest (St Joseph College, Purdue University, Indiana Beach, Dunes National Park, Kankakee Sands Bison Ranch, Willow Slough Game and Fish, halfway between Chicago and Indianapolis on Interstate 65)

What makes this property unique

All my regular guests request to stay at the Downtowner. It is approximately 800 square feet with lots of recycled materials. Private area with swing. Two TVs.
