Fabulous 2 Bed, 2 Bath Cottage On Kangaroo Lake

Carraigeen Cottage is a new 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage right on the shores of beautiful Kangaroo Lake. It has a fully equipped modern kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, including a full sized dishwasher, full stove, large refrigerator, and new washer / dryer. It has 4 queen pillow top beds perfect for 1-2 families or a group of friends. Outside there is a BBQ and picnic style tables. There are several chairs. We have a spot for a boat at the dock. You are welcome to bring your own boat. You can launch it at the Baileys Harbor boat launch on Kangaroo Lake Road. There is a $10 launch fee and it is on the honor system. The collection box is at the launch. Children will love paddling and swimming in the warm waters of Kangaroo Lake. This is a great location for fishing, biking, hiking and canoeing and close to all the downtown amenities of Baileys Harbor and Egg Harbor – Shops, restaurants, galleries, cafes and the marina and beach are only a few minutes away. Get ready for some gorgeous sunsets! Carraigeen is all of the above, and more, but I would just like to make sure that you are aware that the cottage is 700sq foot. It does have a capacity for 8 people but it would not be suitable for 8 adults.

I started renting my first home, Carraig Mor, about 15 years ago. It was not your normal Door County Cottage, it was my home and was rented as such. Travelers really appreciated having the comforts of home away from home. I have since added four more properties. I have only recently started using Airbnb but I have been in business before them, and offering beautiful properties for rent long before it was fashionable. I have hundreds of five star reviews.
